I recently had the opportunity to stay at Amanjena to celebrate a momentous occasion - my wedding anniversary. However, I regret to see that the experience was far from the memorable celebration I had envisioned. Late Pick-Up: Our disappointment began when the pre-arranged pick-up service was delayed by 30 minutes. We had high hopes for a seamless start to our special day, but the delay left us feeling disheartened. Unwelcoming Check-In: The check-in process was neither warm nor welcoming. The individual who assisted us seemed unwell, frequently coughing throughout the process, and their demeanor was less than hospitable. Furthermore, the request for extensive personal information, including home address and occupation, felt invasive and detracted from the celebratory mood of our anniversary. Pool Temperature: One of the main reasons we chose your resort for our anniversary was the promise of a room with access to a pool. However, the pool's temperature was disappointingly cold, making it uncomfortable for a swim. We were surprised that a premium establishment like Aman does not offer a heated pool or jacuzzi. When we inquired about the possibility of heating the pool, the manager promised to check and never got back to us, leaving us waiting for an answer. TV Remote Issues: The inconvenience continued when we found that the TV remote control was non-functional. This may seem like a minor issue, but it had a noticeable impact on our desire to unwind and enjoy our time together. Shower Drain Problems: The slow drainage in the shower area was another inconvenience that affected our stay. The water took an excessive amount of time to drain, which was both uncomfortable and unhygienic. Bathing Salt Quality: To add to our disappointment, the bathing salt provided had sharp objects in it and did not dissolve as expected. This presented a potential safety hazard and was certainly not the soothing experience we had hoped for. Passport Delay: In a final instance of frustration, we realized that our passports had not been returned to us two hours after checking in. It was only after we called the front desk and waited for an additional 10 minutes that they were finally delivered back to us. Our wedding anniversary is a special occasion, and we had high hopes for the quality of service that Aman is renowned for. However, the numerous inconveniences we encountered left us with a sense of profound disappointment on what should have been a joyous day.

The rooms are very spacious with elegant design. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always willing to go above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

This is a great place to come and relax. The service is excellent and the facilities top notch. The food and restaurands are very tasty and diverse. We spend 7 days exploring Marrakesh and sourounding areas and came here for out last 2 days for pure relaxation. It was a great experience and we look forward to our next stay there.

Every employee, from the attentive wait staff to the diligent pool attendants, contributed to making our experience memorable. A special shoutout to our sommelier, Mohammed, for his exceptional service and knowledge. His wine recommendations, especially from the Moroccan selection, greatly enhanced our dining experiences. Regrettably, I forgot the name of the pool attendant, but their daily care and proactive approach to our needs were truly appreciated. One of the highlights was the range of homemade care products provided by the hotel. The shampoo and conditioner, in particular, were remarkable for their quality. The dining options at Amanjena were a culinary delight. The restaurants offered a wide variety of choices, including some unusual yet delectable dishes. The Japanese cuisine, particularly the sushi, was a delightful surprise and added an exciting twist to our culinary journey. Alongside the traditional Moroccan fare, this variety catered to all tastes and preferences. The entertainment provided during meals added an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience. A unique and charming aspect of Amanjena is the presence of friendly cats around the property. These affectionate felines were always ready for a cuddle, adding a homely feel to the environment. The evenings at Amanjena were exceptionally romantic, especially those spent dining by the lake. The ambiance, combined with Mohammed's expert wine guidance, created unforgettable moments. For those seeking a peaceful retreat from the vibrant city, Amanjena is an excellent choice. Its combination of serene surroundings, exceptional service, and diverse culinary delights makes it a standout destination.
