Simple. Bed a bit sof and sunken. Bathroom is a module. Black mold found at the joints. Plasticky and slippery inside. Hair dryer on the floor of cupboard. Sound proofing not great.

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Mascot train station. I'd rather take the train to the Domestic Airport station, exit at T3, then take bus 350 (towards Bondi Junction) for two stops. Get off there and walk for 2 minutes. The hotel is close to the airport, but there's no complimentary shuttle service, and it costs about AUD 12. If I didn't have heavy luggage, public transport would actually be much more convenient and cheaper. The staff were friendly. The room was generally clean and comfortable. The in-room Wi-Fi was decent, but the TV channels weren't appealing, and screen mirroring wasn't available. Buffet breakfast, if paid separately, costs AUD 35. What I appreciated most was the complimentary small carton of milk in the fridge.

The soundproofing in the room wasn't great. I even moved the double bed closer to the window, away from the bathroom and hallway. You could still hear street noise from the single bed by the window. The air conditioning was a Mitsubishi unit and a bit noisy. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from Airport T2, mostly flat with one short, small incline. We walked to save money on the train and bus (the train is $15, and Mascot station would be a further walk back, plus our public transport card was out of money and we didn't want to top it up). There are eateries near the hotel, and a large supermarket with many Chinese restaurants within a 10-minute walk to Mascot Station. It's okay as a temporary stay. However, I woke up the next day with a terrible sneezing fit, so perhaps the cleanliness could be improved. The hotel's homepage photos accurately represent what you get.

The airport is very close, and the environment is quite good. They even offer a wake-up call and airport shuttle service in the morning. Too bad I missed their breakfast. The hallway was very clean. Even though it's near the airport, it's very quiet. Ibis is a well-known brand, and booking through Ctrip was much cheaper; other international sites were almost double the price.

Spent one night here before going overseas.  Staff were lovely and very helpful although I had terrible trouble trying to call through prior and was actually told I didn’t have a reservation there,  so I went to the wrong ibis who obviously also didn’t have a booking for me. When I finally got there, staff were lovely and apologetic.  Only one lift working so took the stairs when I could. Room was adequate for what I needed.  Doors were a bit dirty but shower was good and bed pretty comfortable.  Restaurant was ok.  Lady serving was very rude. Tall younger man was extremely helpful and polite. They didn’t have 2 of the things we asked for as a vegetarian it didn’t leave much to choose from. Pizza was average. Shuttle service super handy and only $12.
