Hotels in Sydney Airport, Mascot

This is a handy hotel to the Sydney airport. The rooms are small but adequite for a overnighter or for leaving early in the morning. The hotel is clean and the staff are most helpful. Just a couple of things that let it down. 3 tea bags for two people (really). One glass, no hand towels, no shower mat.

I only stayed 1 night in Sydney and arrived early morning, they won’t let you in till it’s check in time which is at 2pm and totally understand that. So I waited at the lobby seating area. However, other guests who arrived at 1pm managed to get in their room directly. They also called other guests who were early and waited with me but I only get to my room at 2.30pm. Otherwise, the hotel is great for layovers and if you have an early flight next day. Access to city is easy too as the train is just across the road.

The rooms are clean. The receptionist is friendly and helpful.

My friend and I flew from Perth and me from NZ to watch our friends show @ Hayes Theatre and stayed for 2 nights. We loved the location as it was close to the airport and the room was perfect and lovely. Great having a restaurant in the hotel made it so easy because after travelling I didn’t want to go anywhere else. Pity the weather was miserable but it didn’t stop us from going to see 3 attractions. I will definitely stay here again next time.

We stayed in a spacious one-bedroom apartment with a living room and kitchen. Having a washer and dryer was a lifesaver, especially since it rained non-stop during our week in Sydney. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, oven, and all the essential cookware and dinnerware. A large supermarket is conveniently located just across the road, making it perfect for cooking up elaborate meals in the room on rainy days when you don't feel like going out. Transport links are excellent; it's very close to the airport with direct bus and train services to both the airport and city center.

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the T2/T3 domestic terminals; simply follow the hotel signs to reach it. Mascot station is also within easy walking distance. If you're heading into the city after checking in, walking to Mascot station to catch the train can save you approximately 20 AUD per person (by avoiding the airport surcharge). While the rooms aren't huge, you get a view of the airport runway from the window, allowing you to enjoy watching planes take off and land. It's an excellent choice for a transit hotel. Plus, there's a KFC and McDonald's conveniently located downstairs.

We enjoyed staying in this hotel. The only issue was- we were not able to locate the entrance right away since th signage of h hotel is small and we arrived in the middle of the night. Premises are nice and yes, its a quite place, bedddings super clean and really soft and auper comfy

One metro station (Mascot) from domestic airport. This apartment is only 5 min-walk from the Mascot metro stn and the vicinity has many restaurants (mainly Eastern) and supermarkets or pharmacy. Very new cozy spacious and moden apartment with alp kinds of necessary amenities as one's home. Actual payment has to be made at the reception although preauthorisation of my credit card had been made upon booking online. Extra fees for credit cards will be charged and cash is acceptable only to the limit AUD100. So at the end I paid hybrid to minimise the extra charges for credit card. I think this apartment should have prepared online prepayment to avoid the hassle. We could hear all the noise of airplanes inside our room, but not much a problem for us since we oniy stayed one night and noise was much reduced after shutting the door and window. Overall a very cozy stay.

The soundproofing in the room wasn't great. I even moved the double bed closer to the window, away from the bathroom and hallway. You could still hear street noise from the single bed by the window. The air conditioning was a Mitsubishi unit and a bit noisy. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from Airport T2, mostly flat with one short, small incline. We walked to save money on the train and bus (the train is $15, and Mascot station would be a further walk back, plus our public transport card was out of money and we didn't want to top it up). There are eateries near the hotel, and a large supermarket with many Chinese restaurants within a 10-minute walk to Mascot Station. It's okay as a temporary stay. However, I woke up the next day with a terrible sneezing fit, so perhaps the cleanliness could be improved. The hotel's homepage photos accurately represent what you get.

Highly recommend this Sydney Airport hotel! It felt more like a proper hotel than I expected (not a budget/express hotel vibe), and the room was surprisingly spacious. It seems to have been recently renovated, quite new, and even has an outdoor pool. Overall, it exceeded my expectations! It's about a 10-minute walk from Mascot train station, and also a 10-minute walk from the hotel to the domestic airport departures! Super convenient! Highly recommended! 👍
