Absolutely epic stay. We will certainly be back. For such a cheap deal on Love Holidays I wasn’t sure how it would be although I knew the reviews were great. But it has exceeded expectations and is an absolute gem of a place. Do not hesitate booking here. Things we love. Quiet - no kids Can order food and drinks to room or by pool at no extra charge Air con in bedroom Spacious apartment for two Two toilets Pool is lovely Sun beds are comfy Reception staff so helpful and friendly Clean and so well kept Can’t think of anything we didn’t like - you do have a 25 min walk to town but that’s not a problem or €4-5 in a taxi which is easy to get. We will 100-% be back

Our 2nd trip to Fortuny in 2023 and as before everything was perfect. The staff cannot do enough for you, always a friendly greeting and a smile 😊 The resort is so well maintained and so clean. Always sun beds available as you have your own outside the apartment and many scattered around the resort at the pool, beach area and chill out zone. Food in the restaurant is very reasonable and very good. We came with friends who loved it so much they have booked again for 2024 (whilst sitting on the sun beds at the pool!) 😎 We are returning in February 2024 for a month and cannot wait to return to our “home from home” 🏖️🏠 We are meeting friends that we met last year who have also booked a long stay, taking our sister and brother in law and the friends who have rebooked! We were disappointed with the resort to be honest. Everything looked very old and in need of refurbishment. The chairs around the pool were very old and were badly stained. I’m sure these could be cleaned. I didn’t see anyone cleaning them the week we were there. The bar area does look very tired. The artificial grass flooring is falling apart and does look very unsightly. The reception staff were helpful but more information about the local area should be available as a quick guide leaflet. The apartment was very basic and small. Overall I wouldn’t return.

This hotel is really nice place to have relaxing holiday. Peaceful location. Nice walking distance from beach and faro. Taxis you can get very near to hotel. You dont have to go nowhere, in resort is everything, small minimarket too. Very helpful and friendly staff. If you need something just let them know. Beautiful pool area. In bungalow you have everything you need to, even two toilets. Free pool towels. Cleaning just then when you want it. With pikotea go app you can order food to your room or drinks when you just lie on sunbeds on your own patio. Perfect holiday! We have been here before and have already booked next year holiday there…cant wait to get there back.

If you guys are looking for a very relaxing place to book look no further you found it, amazing little place to spend a week, from the moment we checked in the service was fantastic, so ok you will have to walk 15 to 20 minutes to get to beech but great exercise if you’re going to be indulging in all that’s bad for you, But if you decide to stay the food is fantastic and Sangria to die for and wonderfully priced Book Click n Go for best prices from Dublin. Last year we spent 3 weeks at the Fortuny and loved it so much we returned for 44 nights this year. It was an experiment for us as we have never holidayed for this length before, but we had such a great time we booked before we left for 44 nights next year. We had friends join us for 2 weeks in the middle of our stay and we asked if they could be placed close to us and we were pleasantly surprised when they were housed next door. There is so many people return to the Fortuny we have made friends with those we met last year and we met so many very nice couples this year that we are sure we will see some of them next year. I think that may be due to management who will not tolerate guests who disturb the peace. The staff work very hard to keep everything clean and are helpful and friendly. A special thankyou to our main maid Fanny for her hard work with a smile and Rudy the lifeguard who took great care of our friend who took the skin off a finger. The complex is perfect if you enjoy relaxing in peace in the warmth of the Maspalomas sun. We enjoy walking so walking to Playa Del Ingles (30-40 minutes), Meloneras (20-30 minutes) and the great supermarket Mercadona (which has all your needs 15-20 minutes) is not a problem. For those that don’t like walking there is a taxi rank outside the Fortuny and a bus stop 300m away with a great service which gets you around the island at a low cost. Many of the other reviews say it all but we would say kettles can be obtained on request. Music by the pool is not loud and I am sure some people were not aware it existed. Due to skin being hot from sunbathing the pool can feel cool when entering but once in it is really quite warm.

Firstly, we really enjoyed our week here, we just wanted some winter sun at a good price in a quiet area, and that’s exactly what we got. We are very likely to book again. We had sun for 6 of our 7 days with 22 degree heat, perfect, 4-11th March. Next time we will get a private transfer from the airport as we were almost the last drop off from the airport and it took forever. We got a taxi back at €45. For context we are both recently retired but young at heart and fairly fit. This seemed in tune with many of the other guests. There were no young families, or indeed children, again suiting us fine. There were people here from many nationalities, but mostly German and English. The staff were amazing, thank you to them all for a great stay. Kitchen. If you plan to cook take a sharp knife and a chopping board, and perhaps scissors. There's no kettle but we boiled water in a pan for tea and coffee. Facilities. WiFi was a bit hit and miss. Good 4g EE reception and we used this for streaming iPlayer, Netflix and SkyGo. Sky would not work in WiFi, I assume as it was in Spain. Large and excellent chill out area with comfy seating, a great bar and lovely food. Prices were about the same as eating out. Well equipped gym. Wellness area which we didn’t use. An odd sandy sun bed area behind the gym, I guess if you wanted to feel sand between your toes it saved a trip to the beach. Superb large pool. Lots of books in many languages in reception. Small but perfectly formed supermarket on site with all the usual items. There’s a larger one about 5 mins away if you need more. Accommodation. Aircon in bedroom but not the living room, but that wasn’t really an issue. Comfy sun loungers just outside the duplex. In our room the patio was quite private which was nice. Large very comfortable bed, ours was made up as a double. A safe which was great, big enough for laptops and tablets as well as other valuables . Great powerful shower with fast and plentiful hot water . Plenty of power sockets including by the bed but not USB so you will need adaptors Decent TV but we couldn’t find anything English available so we used our tablet. Downstairs toilet. Large couch but it’s a vinyl finish so you need a towel over it Beach towels provided which you can change twice a week You need to tell reception how often you want your room cleaned which is a bit odd. This caused a lot of confusion. If it was me I’d say the rooms are cleaned every 3 days, if you need more just ask, but you can choose just tell reception by 11am for a same day clean. Towels and bedding are changed. Location. It’s well away from the busy areas which suited us fine. There are a few restaurants within a 5 minute walk, a Lebanese, an Italian and a Chinese. We tried the Italian and Chinese and both were very good. It’s a 25 minute walk down to the lighthouse which is a very nice area to walk around, with high end shops and lots of places to eat and drink. It was €7 for a taxi back. It’s about 40

Excellent place to stay came last may and loved it as it’s for adults only. Very peaceful and the staff are outstanding, food is lovely and you can order from your apartment. There is also a 24hr shop which is handy to know. And if your a cat lover like we are you will be pleased as they have cats

This was our second visit to Fortuny. The staff are great and the resort is spotlessly clean. However, we were disappointed with the music which was piped throughout the resort from reception, restaurant, sand area and pool. It usually started off softly but was raised up by the life guard at the pool. This resulted in guests playing their music too. I personally prefer to listen to my own choice of music using headphones.
