Establishment which was certainly very beautiful at one time with a pretty park in the city center and which today would require a little renovation, in the rooms the furniture is outdated and the condensation from the very noisy air conditioning pours either into a bottle empty or that of the next room into our bathtub through a pipe along the bathroom wall.
The service and cleanliness are impeccable as well as the quality of the breakfast except perhaps that there could be fresh croissants rather than defrosted.
Overall the stay went well, the price is fair which makes up for the dated side of the facilities.

Worn, tired, dark and smells badly of musky, damp air. I don't expect much from a 2 star but more than this was offering. Sits in a commanding place on a multi jumct, but that's the trouble. It sits on a busy juncti which is noisy . All it needs to transform the place is fresh paint with lighter colours and fresh air. I was charged €8 euros more than what I booked online as I opted to pay on site. Not food business practice.

This Hôtel offered the standard of bedroom, en-suite facilities, location, parking facilities, and breakfast usually presented by more expensive hotels. It was extremely quiet with secure parking and the pink dining room is a delight!

Avallon France hotel of Citotel Avallon Vauban is a good place to enjoy peaceful mind and smell fresh air next to the hotel! Bed and towel all clean replace in time! Nice owner vauban help make trip convenient and feel warm liked at home!

We were recommended this hotel as a convenient stop on our way down to the route de grandes alps. It was simple, clean and fairly priced with very pleasant staff
