Avoid at all costs, hotel is falling apart and disgusting. Dirty, expensive and the worst hotel of our trip. We stayed in hotels 1/4 of this price which were 5x better. No shower door. Mould, dead flies, lights that never do off. No door handle or cupboard handles, dangerous electrics and staff do not care. Other guest partying outside until 5am with stereo and staff nowhere to be seen.

Nice hotel, average. Old facilities but clean and comfortable. Pool is clean. The beach is right in front of the hotel but it’s the worst beach of Mirissa (at least this part of the beach) cause a river mouth and the water is brown, like chocolate. If you walk 1 km water is much clearer but is not the best in Mirissa. Mirissa beach sea is really clear. Breakfast and dinner buffet is varied, but most options are local food (really spicy). Room comfortable, clean with balcony with sea view, mini fridge, electrical kettle. The only bad thing I found in the room is A/C display, during night is really shiny and you can’t turn ii off with remote control or anything, is line sleeping with a night lamp. The hotel is a little far away of everything sonif you don’t have a car or driver, you will have to take a Tuk-Tuk (they are waiting outside). We tried to walk, but route is dangerous in some curves, and it was too hot so we decided for a Tuk-tuk in the middle of our way

I never thought i will experienced this much quality time in this visit. Mr.jude and associates are amazing. Very friendly and they feel us at home. Quantity is for food big potions. You should try roof top pool with amazing view. One of my best experience in down south srilanka. They even arranged whale watching. Very near to coconut hill as well. Thanks again.

We did not enjoy our experience at the hotel so we did not utilize the facilities. We requested a refund which they agreed to until recently. I gave an accurate review of their facility as they have been saying they will refund us for the last 2 weeks but have never done so. We requested proof of payment multiple times and never received it. Instead when my partner tried to follow up they informed him I had my period in their washroom so they will not reimburse us and because I gave a Google review regarding our difficulty to get the refund. I cannot have a period because I'm with child instead of apologizing and producing proof of payment they want to threaten us with legal proceedings. They have fabricated lies to avoid paying us. So until someone extends me an apology for lying and a refund, I will continue to make sure people know the truth about my experience with Mirissa gate. I extended they such trust and I'm regretting it.

Stayed 3 nights with my family. This hotel was great from first to las minute we stayed. Spacious rooms, very clean, nice staff members, manager was very helpful, roof pool is just the DREAM after all day on the beach. Walking distance to Mirissa beach along the beach or on the street, tuk-tuk everywhere. Highly recommend!

This is the place to go in Sri Lanka. It is an excellent place to go with good quality service and limited budget. My family and I enjoyed the hotel as it was very clean, had all the amenities required and the beds were super comfy. It includes a restaurant, which is open until 10pm. This means we were able to enjoy our room while our dinner was getting ready. Also we had lunch there, and we enjoyed the view of the beach. The staff arranged a trip for wales watching for us. They did it with a very limited time and we were very thankful to have gone to this hotel. Otherwise, we probably would had missed out on a relaxed holiday,

The best hotel and the most sincere in Mirissa! Staff at the highest level, helped my husband decorate the room for my birthday, ordered and brought a cake and candles, balloons, flower petals! Always friendly and smiling, it's just amazing! Delicious breakfast and beautiful grounds, the pool overlooking the sunset is magic! 1000 out of 10!!!!
