Nice Hotel, clean and very good breakfast. Located in the venter of Matosinhos, but only a short walk to the beach and other sights. Metro to Porto stops in front of the hotel.

Location is a bit far from centre , but due to Meteo just in front of the hotel , it saves the time walk from the metro to the hotel ( normally at least take 20 minutes)
The breakfast is very nice, has everything you want , lots of cheese , ham , eggs, veggies, breads , cereals , fresh and canned fruits , packed cakes and crackers , fresh cakes and croissants, etc ………
The coffee is excellent and wine too for breakfast!!!!!

I quickly found a place to stay in Matozinhos. It was nice that there was a mart and a Burger King nearby. The view of the intersection was nice.

Underbart rum med aircondition på åttonde våningen med utsikt ända bort till Atlanten. Rummet är stort, sängen är mycket bekväm, bra kuddar, bra förvaring i stor garderob, det finns en liten kyl att ha dricka och annat i, ett litet bord med två sittplatser och en bra tv med flera nyhetskanaler. Badrummet är stort, badkar och dusch, bidé och handfat. Mycket bra läge oxå, nära till stranden och flera butiker och restauranger precis runt hörnet om boendet. Spårvagnen in till centrala Porto och tågstationen Campanha stannar precis utanför hotellet. Området är lugnt och tryggt, ett perfekt boende för den som vill vila upp sig på stranden på dagarna och åka in till stan på kvällarna, eller bara stanna i området och äta på någon av de lokala restaurangerna.

Terrible experience at **Hotel Amadeos - Matosinhos**. There was a constant high-pitched noise coming from the ventilation system — even louder at night — making it impossible to sleep. We changed rooms twice, but the issue was exactly the same in both. When we complained, the receptionist told us *he couldn't help and wasn't responsible for anything*. We asked him to call the manager — and were then **accused of somehow connecting our phone to the ventilation system** (which is completely absurd). When we asked for the manager’s name and contact info, we were told **he didn’t want to speak with us**. This is a complete violation of consumer rights. No compensation, no apology, just disrespect and ridiculous excuses. **Avoid Hotel Amadeos at all costs.**
