Matsue universal hotel is a good hotel. It is located nearby train station which is more convenient to transport. I can go to the city closed to hotel. It is comfortable for me to go shopping. Bedroom is good but there is small smell from furniture. It is a big room and service is good.
I recommend you to book this hotel, good price, good place and good facilities.

The location of the hotel is really convenient, in front of Jr Matsue Station. The price-performance ratio is very high, and it even includes breakfast and dinner. It's just a little bit older, and the cleanliness needs to be improved.

The location is the best because it is right next to the 7-Eleven convenience store at Matsue Station. However, I was disappointed that I couldn't use the public bath because the instructions for using it were not clear, and that I requested a buffet but it was replaced with a meal for one person, which was different from the initial introduction. Matsue Castle is close, 10 minutes away by bus, and I walked there.

Breakfast and dinner were included and I was able to stay for a very cheap price.
I read in a review that the room was dirty, but I didn't think anything of it. I was a bit scared when the TV turned on by itself, but I was able to sleep without it bothering me.

I'm glad that it's busy at breakfast and dinner.
I booked a non-smoking room but it smelled of cigarettes. They changed it right away when I asked, but there was a used cotton swab on the floor in the room, probably because it was sudden.
The staff at the parking lot had a bad attitude.
When I checked in, they were intimidating and told me to leave my luggage in the waiting room.
When I left, there was no "good morning"
