The Residence Mauritius

I really don’t know how to praise this beautiful hotel enough. We are here at the moment staying at The Residence in Mauritius. The hotel is just beautiful and immaculately clean. The wonderful staff are a credit to the management team. Dining is a true gem with an Al a carte menu each evening. The white sand beaches are beautiful and the ocean is so blue, warm and inviting. The beach staff are always around to help with towels, drinks and food if needed. Please consider this remarkable hotel if you are planning to visit Mauritius in the near future. Wonderful experience with incredible views and beach! The team were very hospitable and accommodating. The building itself was beautiful and full of authentic paintings and antiques of Asian, Mauritian and colonial history. Mauritius itself is a wonderful island getaway and gem in the Indian Ocean! Thoroughly recommended to all :)

The welcome, the cozy room, great breakfast buffet, friendly staff... I could go on. The water sports are just the icing on the cake. I stayed at this amazing hotel for Easter weekend after my work trip and I had the time of my life. The cocktails are to die for and the food is delicious. I will definitely be back for a proper vacay.

Located on the sandy beach of Belle Mare, it is of the best hotels that i have stayed at. We were welcomed with a tasty drink and check-in was pretty fast. Our room was absolutely beautiful and cosy. The room had a nice smell. A plate of delicacies was on the table. All in room amenities were provided. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. There were a good selection of food whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staffs were very helpful and great thanks goes to all of them for making our stay a memorable one. Beachside 5 star Hotel providing quality service and accommodation. We had a lovely suite that was really classy. Great grounds with pools and sun beds were you can just laze and admire the great views. Food is really good with plenty of choice available.

This is a beautiful property with a stunning beach, great facilities, wonderful service and excellent food. We spent 10 very happy days here. It is quiet, so you can find restful and also shady spots. There are 2 restaurants and a nice bar. The service is very good - friendly and professional.

Fabulous hotel on a beautiful private beach. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and helpful. The facilities are excellent, especially if you are interested in water activities. The treatments in the spa are excellent, pampered by wonderful staff. It may be a little expensive but we'll worth it. For indulgence and relaxation definitely try The Residence in beautiful Mauritius.

The is a superb hotel. We were meet by friendly staff and a lovely welcome drink (after a 12 hour flight was appreciated). The colleague explained to us our package and then showed us to our room, were within a couple of minutes our Butler Roshan arrived to show us how everything worked and offered to unpack out cases for us. It happened to be my mother's birthday whilst we were out their (not that we had told them). On the day, we came back from our excursion to find a lovely towel decoration in the shape of a birthday cake decorated with flowers from their garden. There was also a vase on the table with flowers from their garden. To top it all, in the evening at dinner, they had laid a special table with flowers (again from their garden) and present my mother with a lovely chocolate cake with a plaque wishing her "Happy Birthday" and had pearls/small sea shells. To our astonishment the plaque was edible. We used the Spa twice. Divya and Naomi are excellent. The Manager of the area (I didn't get her name) really looked after my mother when she went to use the Sauna/Steam Room. It is a very calming area to visit. All the hotel staff were welcoming, friendly and couldn't do enough for you to make your stay an enjoyable one. It was an enchanting stay! Service and food was exceptional. A very large choice which changed every day at the breakfast and dinner buffet. Show cooking was excellent. The pool was clean and large, very friendly staff. We intend to come back.
