We stayed for 9 nights in February. The resort was clean & the grounds were well maintained. We had a Seaview room with a balcony. The room was a good size. Bathroom was very large with a seperate bath, double shower & twin sinks. We were staying on half board but we got complimentary water in the room because we were raddison members. Breakfast had a reasonable selection but it became a bit repetitive. I would've liked to see different things such as French toast offered on different days. The evening buffer was a bit hit & miss for me. There was general indian/maurtian spicy food available but unfortunately I struggle with this. I would recommend the hotel publish in advance the buffet themes for the week then you can choose to prebook at the other restaurants if it is not to your taste. We did find that the prices in the hotel were a little steep compared to outside the resort. Sunbeds were plentiful we never had a problem. Service was very good. I had a manicure, pedicure & head massage at the spa. Treatments were good. Unfortunately my nail varnish started to peel off on day 2. I went back and they redid it free of charge. We were celebrating my husbands birthday during the holiday. The hotel arranged a special meal for us on our last night at the golf club which was lovely. They even brought him a cake. We had a cyclone hut whist we were there. Staff were reassuring & we received regular updates on the TV in our room. The TV was a little frustrating. Few channels available & the ones we had were defaulted to French. We found out how to change language but it would randomly change back mid view. The setting & beach were lovely. The pool was a very comfortable temperature & a good size for a swim. I would recommend mosquito repellent & we found it very hot & humid. The air conditioning in our room was a welcome relief. Take a good sunscreen because even when it's windy & cloudy you burn easily.

We were there to celebrate our honeymoon. Shikka welcome us very friendly and was always helpful. The kitchen and restaurant teams are amazing, always lovely and helpful. Specially Sunita and Rekha, everyday with theire lovely smiles. They had always gluten & lactosefree food for me. The food was very good. Also Vinod and Ramesh, they have interest to give us the best and that we are having a good time. They always told us: "if you're happy, I'm happy" We had also the best room maid, Jennifer, from the Housekeeping. She's lovely, very helpful and our room was always very clean. We felt like home. Thank you sooo much guys. We had a wonderful and unforgettable time there. You'll stay in our hearts. And we'll come back someday

Hotel is in the North of the island it is a small resort in well maintained grounds. Room we booked was a small bungalow with own plunge pool, room was big spacious, large bathroom with walk in shower, room was lovely but tired in places. There is a central dining room and bar serving food and drinks however all inclusive is not all inclusive only local drinks supplied the rest have to be purchased. Breakfast and lunch lovely with good selection although evening gets extremely busy , however evening meal choices could have been better , so busy one night we couldn’t find a seat and had to go back later , dining room could be bigger . Staff are helpful and attentive and very friendly Beach area is lovely but more sunbeds needed, activities on offer are good, canoeing, glass bottom boat are just a few to mention. Every Wednesday the hotel runs a free shuttle to Flacq market this is well worth doing we loved it, also paid trips out can be booked at reception to around the island , South of the island tour amazing thankyou to Ahmed for such a great tour Black rock is a small separate restaurant on site which can be booked there is a good set menu but you are given an allowance by the hotel against the a la carte selection Big downside here at present is the building work being carried out it’s quite disruptive, angle grinding and hammering with dust everywhere all around the pool area it’s not good Overall we enjoyed our stay it could have been much better without the building work going on and more information given

The hotel is in good state. The garden and green areas are well taken care of. Rooms are clean and spacious. The personnel was very kind. There is an access to the private beach which is great but the feeling when you enter the water is not the best one. It is far from expectations if it is about place like this.

We had such a great time staying at this Hotel, could have stayed so much longer. Stunning location. Free organised trips to the local market. Glass bottomed boat and to the sister hotel and all the water sports .Staff couldn’t do enough for you. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt so valued as guest’s. A special thank you to Pinky who helped us so much through our stay.

The resort sits within it's own gated community. The hotel itself is reasonably small with about 100 rooms but then there are a number of private residences around the resort. Albeit the hotel is remote this was ok with us. There is the choice of taxis, local bus or car rental to get about. We have been here 2 weeks and it's only in the 2nd week we have felt the urge to leave the resort. The hotel is clean, the rooms sufficient and the food is great. Now one of my children is particularly fussy and there is the option in the main restaurant to book chicken and chips or a pizza if she really couldn't find anything else to eat. The main restaurant for buffet isn't huge but the quality and variety is ample to enjoy a good meal. There are 3 other restaurants available but these do need to be booked and the choice is good in all 3. The beach is quiet and the sea is warm, it's safe for families and it little comes up over your waist. The water sports on the beach offer sailing, kayaks, paddle boards and pedlos which are great to utilise for free! There is a small island off the shore that makes a good target to reach and it's called 'dead mans island' which the kids loved to refer to as if pirates had been there! The best attribute the hotel has is the staff, nothing is too much and they are all extremely polite and attentive, which makes for a great recipe for a lovely holiday. No it's not on the best beach and no it doesn't have a massive all you can eat buffet but what it does have is maintained and serviced extremely well. A hire car is between £65 and £85 a day so it's worth considering, if you are from the UK then it's the same side of the road and the road rules are the same, it's easy to do and there is plenty of public parking to use. So i recommend exploring as you will regret it if not. I would come back to this hotel and i would recommend it to friends and family which is why I write this review. The service will not disappoint, utilise the other restaurants and look to explore the island.

The hotel was above expectation. We wish to convey our utmost gratitude and thanks to you all Radisson Blu family for your outstanding service. We were very impressed by the responsiveness of your staff from the planning stage till the end of our retreat. Foods were very tasty and value for money. Beautiful place. Hotel amazing but needs a better upkeep in rooms. When we asked for extra pillows and for the balcony furniture to be cleaned, it was done no problem but it should be kept 100% at all times so when guests arrive they don’t see imperfections. Weather was mixed. Lots of showers. But it is what you make it I guess. Mauritius is beautiful in terms of plants and coast- no denying that. Heaven on earth. Good was fantastic. Loads of choices and drinks in all inclusive were amazing. Service and hospitality very high standard. Just needs to be maintained a bit better for a 4* as when you pay that kind of money you want it to be perfect!
