No flexibility from hotel side. We took 4 rooms with an extra bed in one of the rooms. Extra bed charges are unreasonably high at 763. Since we took 4 rooms, we asked the ***ager to waive off extra bed charges which he accepted. However while checking out, the receptionist said that they didn’t accept any waiver. Receptionist kept responding in a careless and indifferent ***ner. I will not stay again in this hotel. There are much better hotels in Mayiladuthurai. This hotel needs to be avoided just for the careless attitude of the reception staff and the ***agement.

One of the worst hotel where we have stayed in the recent past. Though the tariff includes complimentary b/f, it is nothing short of a bait to lure travelers. Breakfast timings as we were told at the time of check in are 7.30-9.00 am but to our dismay, started at 7.45 and closed at 8.30 am ! Spread was nothing to speak about. Evening tea / coffee was made available strictly only after 4 pm. We were made to feel as if we were staying in a Military controlled hotel. On location, it is a good 1.5 kms from the market place and even couple of good restaurants are located at a 15 minutes walk.

We had done a booking on august 4 for one night. We were checking in on the morning of august 5 and were spending less than half a day at the hotel. The hotel did not have an in room coffee tea facility. For a hotel which charges so much this was unacceptable. The service was also very average. Had to ask for towels and soap. This despite calling them in advance and informing them of the time of our arrival.

We checked in early morning there was no coffee maker in the room when we asked for coffee we were informed that coffee won’t be available for half an hour
For a hotel which charges such tariffs not having coffee and milk sachets is really surprising

What we liked - safe, quiet, great staff, reasonably clean
What we did not like - sewage smell in bathroom (maybe the water level in the commode should be raised to provide a block), also some (what looked like) bloodstains on the covers (should be cleaned or replaced).

Excellent hotel in Mayavaram. Fantastic rooms.Quiet neighborhood.Parking with accommodation for drivers.No restaurant but hotel will arrange food for you if needed.Great location and probably the best hotel in That part of Thanjavur.
