Rawdat Al Aqiq Hotel

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!! Checked into this hotel as all other hotels were fully booked, it is a dirty little hotel couldn’t wait to get out of there. Water leaks from the shower and into the bedroom wetting the whole bedroom floor, told the receptionist many times they said they will come and dry it but all they did was put some towels down they later said they will give us another room but obviously they did not do that either! There are so many flies and bugs, you just don’t feel clean. They also first said we have free breakfast for everyday we stay but when we went for breakfast the next day they said it was just for 1 day! The breakfast is horrible as well. The electricity goes off randomly, the AC comes on automatically when we wanted the heater on but the heater wasn’t working! The guy said ‘it’s haram view’ not much of a view. Not forgetting we got bitten by bugs in the rooms!! I would strongly recommend people to stay well away from this hotel it is absolutely DISGUSTING!! They need to fix up!! Waste of time and money!! 😡 Wish I could give it minus stars. 🤮

Terrible restaurant. It's says 4 star hotel trust me not even eligible for 2 star. The room and toilet is stink. And the bedding is not even good , giving back pain. Breakfast service is very bad . All the waiter are bangladeshi and not serious about their job. Very careless always on phone or eating or drinking something. Seems like they are the guest in here. Totally waste of money. People smoke in the corridoor which is absolutely joke. This is my honest review about this hotel. Think twice before you book here.

The staff were exceptional! especially Mr. Mohnad at the front desk. All the staff and room service were outstanding and putting efforts to deliver a good service and this is appreciated. Although it was very crowded and stressful for the staff however, they were serving all the guests calmly and with a smile. That was relaxing. We’ve been upgraded to a room with a Haram view which was breathtaking. 8 minutes walk from Al Haram and far from the ladies gate entry to Al Rawda. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The area has a lot of affordable shops and restaurants. Taxi is available all day around. They were generous with the towels. It was a shock not having a complimentary water in the room. Elevators are available all the time without waiting. Some improvement points should be considered by the hotel management: - Complimentary water in the rooms is a must. - The cafeteria service is very poor and the person needs a lot of customer service training. - The food and drinks are below average. - The wifi was very weak. - overall priced compared to the facilities and room size.
