Everything is great.Friendly staff. Great location for tram, train and yara river. Breakfast is good. The room is cool temp and the shower lovely

Location was fantastic. Room was clean. Staff were helpful and attentive. The food at Lane Restaurant was good.

Booked a Deluxe King Room; however, the room provided did not match the photos shown on Trip.com. The male staff member who assisted with check-in was noticeably rude and unhelpful, merely pointing to the information sheet instead of explaining the hotel facilities. The first room assigned on Level 7 was missing bedside lamps, so we requested a change and were moved to a room on Level 13, which unfortunately was quite noisy. Overall, the room felt rather dim even during the day. The food was ok.

I recently stayed at Novotel Melbourne on Collins, and overall it was a great experience. The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of the city, with easy access to shops, cafes, and public transport. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, with large windows overlooking Collins Street. The bed was very cozy and ensured a good night’s sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially at check-in — they made everything smooth and welcoming. Breakfast had a good variety of options, and the dining area was bright and pleasant. The gym and facilities were well-maintained, though the pool was a bit small. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for both business and leisure stays. The combination of great location, comfort, and professional service makes it one of the best value stays in Melbourne CBD.

Located at the heart of the cbd area, great location since it's near shopping centers, restaurants, and supermarkets. The room are big, comfy, and clean. The only issue is that there is only one working elevator that makes it quite uncomfortable.

Novotel Melbourne on Collins was a fantastic base for our family trip! The location truly is perfect – having multiple free city tram stops within 100 meters made exploring effortless. We easily walked to major spots like Flinders Street Station and the stunning State Library Victoria. Food options were plentiful nearby, making "food hunting" a breeze. A major plus for us was the onsite parking. Renting a car was stress-free knowing we had a guaranteed, convenient spot each night (parking fee applicable, refer to hotel front desk). The room was impressively spacious, comfortably accommodating our family of two adults and a kid. Having two queen-size beds was ideal – everyone had plenty of room to sleep well. **Things that could elevate the experience further:** 1. Breakfast Variety: While the breakfast was good, a wider selection of hot and cold options would be appreciated, especially for a longer stay. 2. TV Upgrade: The current TV channel is very limited. Upgrading to Smart TVs with access to streaming platforms like Netflix and YouTube would be a huge improvement for in-room entertainment, especially for families with young kids / toddler. 3. Shaving Kit Quality:The provided shaving kit's "cream" (which was a soap) and blade weren't great. Offering a slightly higher quality kit with proper shaving cream would be a noticeable touch. **Overall:** We had a very comfortable and convenient stay thanks to the unbeatable location, easy parking, and spacious family room. Addressing the breakfast variety, TV upgrade, and shaving kit quality would easily push this towards a perfect 5-star experience. Highly recommended, especially for families needing space and city access.
