I checked in for the second time. I stayed in a room with a large balcony. I was still very satisfied. Although it felt a little older, the room was very spacious and very comfortable.
Overall clean and the bed was good to sleep on.

The lobby and guest rooms are spacious. The hotel is close to the botanical garden, close to the CBD, convenient for shopping, and has kitchen facilities. Was disappointed we had no power during our stay. Planned outage but couldn’t tell us until after we checked in in case we cancelled the booking?
A few things lacking like bedside lamps - one provided was faulty. Didn’t work
It’s a good location. Handy to have self contained - kitchen etc

Rooms were clean, some of the fittings a little dated - the curtains need attention as they are hanging down and the light near the bed was clearly broken. Kitchen showing its age but the couch was comfortable and we enjoyed the large size of the room. Staff were pleasant and helpful. the location for us was perfect and we appreciated the off street undercover parking.

I have stayed here many times. I like the location, just outside of the CBD on St Kilda road, it is still easy to get into the city either by tram or walking. The walk is nice as there are several historic buildings as well as the botanical gardens along the way.
I love that there is a small kitchen with basic tools for cooking meals, as well as the washer and dryer which is one of the main reason I stay here when traveling.
The property could do with some updating, especially things like the elevators and common areas but overall not an issue that would stop me from staying.
Only other negative was that the restaurant that is attached to the hotel is closed now so you have to go out for breakfast, dinner etc, but if you buy groceries for a longer stay this is also not a major problem.

Great location immediately opposite the Shrine of Remembrance. We actually had a balcony overlooking it - wish we could have stayed more nights! Big room and comfortable beds too.

Staff are friendly and attentive. Distinct lack of cooking utensils in room. Bed was comfortable. Daily room service was a bit hit and miss. On site car parking is a bonus.
