Little Drifter Melbourne

Check-in is through the app. The place is centrally located, walking distance to Flinders Street. Lots of cafes/restaurants nearby. I paid extra for a bottom bunk bed but got assigned to a top one though. Overall, good service and cleanliness was maintained.

The only good thing I can say about this hostel is that the location is fantastic. Aside from that, it was a huge disappointment, especially considering the extremely high price. The room description online is completely false: what is advertised as a "superior dorm for 3 people" actually means 3 bunk beds. On top of that, I was placed in a room with 18 beds in total, which felt incredibly overcrowded. There were no luggage lockers available inside the room either. Because of this, everyone's bags and suitcases were piled up all over the floor, making the room completely cluttered and impossible to walk through. To finish, nothing was clean, the hygiene standards were completely unacceptable for what they charge. I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here.

Nice hostel and quite new after decorations last year. Pretty bad the laundry is unavailable but booking information still says have.

The location ist amazing. The kitchen is nice and big with several airfryers as well. Unfortunately there was not enough cutlery and other tools you might need for cooking. I was in a 10 bed dorm. The room was nice and spacious and the beds have thick curtains. The downside was the bathroom. I stayed for 7 nights and the bathroom was maybe cleaned twice. So it wasn't a really good experience to use it. There were also no additional bathrooms on any upper level. One bathroom is simply not enough for ten people. To summarize I expected better bathroom cleanliness and more bathrooms also on the upper levels. And also the early kitchen closure at 10pm was pretty annoying.
