Hyatt Place Memphis Wolfchase Galleria

Our family stopped here while traveling home. It was close to where we were and needed to just stop for the night. Quick booking through my trip app, and the guy was nice when I was checking in. The room was okay, nothing special, honestly, which was surprising since it was a higher end hotel, but it was decent as far as cleanliness and enough beds for my family of 6. The beds are not that comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was decent, and coffee was good. Was in a good part of Memphis.

The room was absolutely clean and spacious. We really enjoyed our Honeymoon there.

First time we stayed the rooms were clean staff was nice. However, on our return trip they put us on the 4th floor which smelled like a Cheech and Chong Movie filled of ********* smoke. Hotel staff could care less and didn’t even offer us to change rooms to a different floor. Reported again the next morning and staff member gave a vague “I’m sorry” as I turned around he didn’t know my family was at the table across and witnessed him just roll his eyes at me.

Definitely smelled “pet friendly”. They might want to consider keeping animals in a specific area or floor. You can only clean so much.

Room was good. Breakfast was scarce, definitely could’ve used replenishing. There wasn’t much when we went down and no staff around.

The rooms were very spacious. The food was good. The cafeteria staff was nice. We enjoyed our stay.

Room was nice and spacious. Only complaint was that the bathroom was right in front of bed, not offset so sink light was very bright when others were using. Also the bathroom itself was little tight. Would be fine for single person staying there.
