High Corner Hotel

Booked the hotel as it was close to a restaurant we had booked for a taster menu. We didn't arrive till 9pm after the meal - but were very pleasantly surprised on arrival. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean. We didn't realise when we booked that it was also an Indian restaurant. The bar area is very well laid out, very clean and welcoming. Everything seems to have been decorated to a very high standard. I noticed walking up the stairs to our room just how thick and plush the carpet felt underfoot compared to standard hotel fare. The room we stayed in was again beautifully decorated, gorgeous bathroom. My hubby commented that the flooring was obviously professionally laid as the vinyl flooring had welded corner seams. Lovely furniture and furnishings- soft bed and bedding. We missed the opportunity to eat here, but based on the rooms ( and a quick peak into restaurant area - which looked just as immaculate) we will definitely make a concerted effort to return.

Little gem of a hotel I booked this hotel at very short notice, due to visiting the area as a surprise to see my daughter. On arrival the whole building was spotless, and after a short wait, I was greeted by the proprietor. The gentleman was extremely professional, happy, polite and gave the warmest of welcomes to his establishment. He promptly booked me in and escorted me to my room. The room itself was immaculately kept and clean, it was also more spacious than what I expected and was tastefully decorated. I was informed that after 21:00 in the evening, access to the property would be via a dedicated security, key card door at the rear of the property, to avoid going through the bar/restaurant area. I was so impressed with my stay, I shall be using this venue for future trips to see my daughter.
