Self-driving tours to the campsite are not allowed, and you must pick up and drop off. The pick-up and drop-off charges are more expensive and require negotiation. The paid service is good! It's too cold at night and there is no heating!

The organization was excellent,from the transfer to the activities.The camel ride offered us an authentic and relaxing moment through the endless dunes,spectacular colors and a tranquility that is hard to describe in words.Upon arrival at the camp,we were greeted with cold lemonade and tasty cookies and in the evening,the atmosphere was special:a delicious traditional dinner,live music and dancing,while the sky full of stars…simply incredible! The haima is equipped with everything you could wish for:a double bed,a large shower cabin and air conditioning.Breakfast and dinner were included.All the staff were extremely kind and I thank them. I spent 3 days in the desert with my sister,and it was one of the most transformative experiences of my life.The immensity of the sand and the absolute silence made me disconnect with myself. Check night temps before traveling, take cash
It was Dec so a little too cold in the desert for a comfortable sleep. They enough provided enough quilts but when the bed is cold, it is cold :-) They had warm running water, bathrooms were clean and well equipped.
They do not take credit cards so be prepared to carry cash. The owner met us in the city afterwards, we had to stand in line, withdraw money multiple times from the ATM to give him cash. He was very friendly but the process took away time from our schedule.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! From the start of the booking process to dropping us back with our tour guide, Youssef was extremely professional, friendly and knowledgable. The site is as beautiful as advertised. And the food was perhaps the very best we ate in all of Morocco! And camels, camels, camels! (actually dromedaries). The accommodation was extremely spacious, modern and comfortable while still maintaining a traditional Saharan vibe. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Our arrival at DESERT CAMP AMANAR was, as expected, on camelback. It was a very fun experience! The Saha Tours team, Mohamed, Ismael, and the rest of the crew, were waiting for us there. The place is incredible, with spacious, clean, and very, very well-equipped tents, a very cozy dining tent, and the camp's nighttime lighting is amazing... Without a doubt, the sunset over the Erg Chebbi dunes is AMAZING, unlike anything you've seen before. Added to this is a spectacular dinner and a Berber music show, including dancing around the fire. It was a very fun night, while we enjoyed a sky so full of stars we'd never seen before. We were also able to enjoy a truly spectacular sunrise over the desert, followed by a delicious breakfast. Greetings to our friends from Zaragoza who were celebrating a birthday. We thank them for letting us participate and allowing us to enjoy a magical night with them. And above all, I would like to thank Youssef and Hassan for their hospitality, kindness, and willingness to make sure everything was perfect. A truly recommendable experience. Thank you, SAHA TOURS. We will see you again in the desert, In Sha Allah...

A beautiful camp with large rooms and very comfortable beds. Super friendly staff, a hearty dinner followed by Berber music that makes the experience unique. The stars and sunrise from there are breathtaking; a must-do.

Très belle expérience en plein coeur du désert. Les pieds dans la dune, littéralement. Service au top (diner copieux et très bon, mais à payer en extra) avec des jeunes adorables qui vous accueillent très bien (petit concert le premier soir). Le wifi ne marche pas dans les chambres éloignées de la tente commune. Pas grave mais faut le dire. Ils vont installer la clim apparemment. En attendant il faut vivre l’expérience authentique. Magique le soir avec les étoiles. Très joli "jardin" pour regarder le désert . Un vrai effort de décoration. Romantique
