We stayed here when walking part of the GR1/Sendero Histórico and it worked really well. It was a quite time so the hostel was quiet. We had a double room with a private bathroom- simple but everything worked and the room was quite large. Oddly, towels weren't included but were available for an extra fee. Breakfast, left in the fridge for us, was OK and we were able to make an early start. The staff member on duty WhatsApped to check when we were arriving, and met us there. He was really helpful. The town's a bit short of places to eat, particularly in the evening and even at lunchtime on Mondays and Tuesdays, but there's a good supermarket and the hostel has a big and well-equipped kitchen so you can cook for yourself if need be. The hostel seemed pretty new and in very good condition.
