We had a great experience at this hotel. Despite arriving in the middle of the night due to a flight delay we were welcomed warmly. We had a booked a swim up room and have to say it was lovely, well decorated with a spacious terrace. The sun at this time of year was lower in the sky so the pool outside our room only had sun for a couple of hours early in the morning, and the terrace not at all, this wouldn't get any even in high summer. That didn't bother me too much but the room/pool combo didn't really work for us as it was quite isolated and not near the bar or restaurants. Food at the buffet was varied and delicious, there was also an a la carte option for lunch if you wanted, which we had a couple of times and was again very tasty. You could have one dinner visit per stay. The best part of this hotel was the staff. They were friendly, happy and went out of their way to make a great experience for us. No, English isn't their best language, but all of those we spoke with made a huge effort and actually welcomed the opportunity to practice their English. They also really appreciated a little effort from us when we tried a little French! Housekeeping was daily with new towels every day. And there is a kettle with tea and coffee, also topped up daily. I wouldn't hesitate to return here, although I'd not bother with a swim up next time.
