Yahya is a great guy and we had an awesome time with him. His welcome was really warm and he presented us the best possible trip to Erg chegaga desert. Driving wir a 4x4 to the camp, explaining a lot of things and getting served with great food. When possible, we will definitely stay with him again!

We were picked up from the bus station by Ya Ya and immediately felt at ease. He has a laid back and accomodating vibe. When we tried to extend our stay and no rooms were available he allowed us to sleep in the living room for a few nights. The house has a beautiful courtyard where we spent many go slow mornings playing music and drinking tea. He helped us organise an Er Chigaga adventure that fitted into our timing. While we were here we went to the Taragalte Festival, he came in with us, enjoyed the music and helped us get home. Would recommend coming to Dar Ya Ya and spending time here, the desert is a beautiful place and Ya Ya was super helpful.

We spent two nights here during the Taragalte festival and enjoyed our stay. Yahya was very nice and organized our transport from Zagora to Mhamid and then from the hotel to the festival each evening. Note: DO NOT BOOK ON *******. I booked through ******* and was charged when I made the reservation. However, when I got to the hotel, Yahya asked me to pay the entire cost AGAIN in cash. He said he doesn’t work with ******* anymore, but can’t figure out how to close his account with them. Luckily, I was able to get ******* to refund the entire amount they charged to my credit card. But the experience was frustrating.

We stayed in the newly built rooms. They were very nicely furnished, had a great bathroom, were quiet, and clean. Yaya prepared a wonderful breakfast upon request, and we could also order lunch and dinner, which were always freshly prepared and delicious. The atmosphere is generally very warm, and you immediately feel at home. We went on a hiking tour into the desert with his brother. It was an unforgettable two days.

Yahya est un hôte chaleureux, accueillant et attentif. Il est plein de ressources et de bons conseils, il connaît parfaitement la région. Le logement est propre et charmant, dans un quartier calme. Yahya a organisé pour nous et nos enfants un trek dans le désert de Chegaga, tout s'est passé comme prévu. Trajet en 4×4 avec le guide Hassen, dîner à la belle étoile, balade en dromadaires au lever du soleil. Merci pour ces moments inoubliables!!!
