Once a colony for artists and outcasts now reimagined for a new cultural age Esme is a gem hidden in plain sight. Built in 1925 the series of buildings along Espanola Way that make up Esme Village were once a hideaway for Al Capone and his cronies as they ran shady card games and set the backdrop for Desi Arnaz as he started a craze for the rumba. Now a historic landmark these walls set the foundation for 145 guest rooms and suites a roof deck pool and lounge and four dynamic food and beverage concepts all nodding to the colorful history of the Village and offering an escape to a world where time slips away.

Loved the vibe of the Esmé. Within walking distance of the beach, shops, and restaurants. Rooftop bar was excellent! Staff was very personable and helpful. Definitely recommend!

(38F) I stayed at Esme Miami Beach for one night before taking off on cruise. Wished I booked an earlier flight so I can venture out in the area. It's located right in the center of Espanola Way where there's a ton of food options and night scene in Art Deco district. The bellman helped and guided me straight to my room (sorry I can't remember his name but he was on staff 11/26 evening), he gave some pointers on food and beach within walking distance. The room size was perfect for me as I was traveling alone. Love the bathroom set and it was huge! I got up early to take advantage of their rooftop pool. It was relaxing as it was clean and quiet. I later grab lunch at their bar/cafe there also. Before heading to the cruiseport, I dropped my luggage off at the front desk to hold while I walked over to the beach which was like 5 mins away. I will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful hotel, incredible location and very friendly staff. The pool area and bar are stunning and the place smells AMAZING. As a solo traveller I felt very safe. Only thing i missed was a suitcase rack and topped up coffee supplies.

The location is very good, the staff is friendly and the rooms looked great. I had no problems with the cleanliness. I think it would be better if the valet fee was a little more affordable.
