Motel 6, unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired.
The room's cleanliness was below par, with evident signs of neglect. Basic essentials like towels were missing, and the unwelcome presence of cockroaches was unsettling. To add to the discomfort, the initially missing amenities, including a refrigerator and microwave, were eventually provided from what seemed like a storage area—dusty and infested with bugs.
The elevators, were filthy and emitted unpleasant odors, creating a rather unwelcoming atmosphere.
Attempts to address these concerns, especially the room were met with disappointment. Despite requesting a meeting with the General Manager, my requests were denied, and no formal complaint was registered.
Compensation, none was offered, leaving me dissatisfied with both the experience and the lack of responsiveness to my concerns. After persistent follow-ups, a room change was arranged, promising better lighting. However, the new room still lacked the booked amenities (refrigerator and microwave) as booked by us, leaving me questioning the overall commitment to guest satisfaction and the do not care attitude was evident.
Significantly short of the standards one would expect, considering the brand reputation. I was hoping to discuss these concerns further with the General Manager to gain insights into how such lapses in service can be addressed promptly during our stay but that never happened.
All in all, the worst experience ever!
