Sun and Surf Inn

No internet in rooms, only in lobby. Lobby was 8 x 10 ft, had 2 old wicker chairs, and lots of ants. Would not give refund despite not staying or even entering the room. Extremely run down 1-star motel. Avoid this place

This establishment is not ran like a proper business, no one is ever in the office. They all have attitude problems and remember the roaches were there way before you got there. The manager acts like you don’t exist and everything evolves around her.

It is not a great place, and even though I had read the bad reviews, I still chose it because it was one of the only options for the budget I had. Even though I had my expectations very low, the place did not exceed them. If you ONLY need a bed to sleep in and are out during the day, it can be considered. But the following speaks against it: -old and worn out. Some of the things could easily be fixed, like a rusty shower head in the shower and some other small things that could easily be repaired or fixed -there is spider´s web in the ceiling and on the walls, this is what I call "authentic" - but it could easily be cleaned as well but has probably been there for long -wi-fi is average, hops on and off and different coverage depending on where u are in the room -close to the Biscayne Blvd which is very busy, so avoid room 101 and 102, if possible. The lady in the reception was quite serviceminded and helpful, but this place really need a massive renovation in order to become a nice place again. Only opt for it if you are on a budget, and consider paying a bit more to get something better. The location is ok with shopping and resturants along the Biscayne Blvd.
