The Guild Downtown Miami

The Guild Downtown Miami offers serviced apartments. It's not a hotel, so don't expect a hotel experience. Reception staff are nice and helpful. The rooms are adequate, but there are clear signs of wear and tear that need to be addressed. The location is great for downtown Miami and its location directly beside College Bayside Metromover Station. It's quite a 'lively' place. Full of young hipsters. I was there with my wife and 3 young kids, and I wouldn't recommend it for families. 3 out of 5 is a fair evaluation.

We stayed in Guild Downtown before we boarded a cruise from Miami. The location is very good. close to restaurants and good view. The place is very well maintained and spacious. The electronic access cards were ready before we arrived, and we could check in as soon as we came in. We were six of us and the place was spacious. I would suggest they can be bit clearer about the route to parking entrance.

Scam!!!! Stole my money!! I am so annoyed and frustrated , they took full rate for room 2 nights and now are non contactable , avoid at all costs - majorly distressed about this- trip advisor should take down

Worst of the worst, a total scam. Worst experience ever. Criminal comes to mind, and whomever did this should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Not only did they steal our money, they continued to send emails as if nothing happened. Total scam, I will avoid them and anyone/anything ever associated with them. We never had the opportunity to do anything other than get ripped off.

I had to select a date that I went, but my reservation was cancelled, I can't go! In May I booked through *******, 2 nights Oct 3-5. I chose " pay at resort". ******* GAVE THE RESORT MY CARD INFO, and immediately there was a FULL, 2 DAY CHARGE on my card from The Guild. Then they claimed bankruptcy! ******* sent an email stating that The Guild can't afford to refund me, I have called and chatted a dozen times. And ******* posted it as a zero deposit reservation in my reservation. pic #1 is the letter from ******* about cancelling me..#2 is what happens when you text or call *******. #3 Is ******* pretending that they didn't take a charge., and only shows 1 night when its 2, ...(they gave my info to The Guild who took 2 nights from my credit card, $384, I didn't post my card statement), #4 the most recent reviews. When I booked in May, everything was 5 star. B of American has been trying to get my money back but they have disconnected their #.

SCAM !!! Took our full deposit of $550 for 1 night back in March when we made the reservation !! Only to find out yesterday 9.2.23, tha my they went out of business with no notice to us and NO REFUNDS. TRIP ADVISOR should take this place down from their Website.

Hotel filed bankruptcy and took my money. Booked a room and key didn’t work to access apartment and there was not anyone from customer service to assist. I called the number listed and emailed several times before the concierge told me that no one works for the hotel as they filed bankruptcy.

Concierge is not always there making it extremely difficult to get anyone on the phone at certain times. Our room had no hand soap and the soap & shampoo containers in the shower were bone dry. The pullout couch didn’t work and there wasn’t any extra bedding for it anyways. Instead of the kids sleeping on the pullout I slept on the couch. Thankfully we were there for only 1 night. Pool area was very nice though

I booked with ***********/ Upon arrival I mentioned to the guest services person that my credit card had been charged twice for my one night stay. She assured me it would be refunded. 3 weeks later, no refund from The Guild-Miami ($284.59). The charge was from the hotel NOT ***********. I tried to call and email (5 times) with no response from the hotel. After another 5 business day waiting period with *********** (they tried to contact the hotel - no response) I finally got my 2nd charge back from ***********
