Beautiful stay and the service when arrived was lovely, friendly very welcoming will highly recommend it 😊 the bed was a lovely and the pillows going to go out and buy some and the mattress 😀

The e loft room with jacuzzi was amazing and the hospitality was wonderful ! My husband and I would definitely return and highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Forest Lodge. The bedroom was comfortable and well presented with excellent en-suite facilities. The breakfast was perfect - all about the eggs, which were incredibly fresh! The hosts were so welcoming and helpful throughout the stay, recommending a great pub (The Red Lion) for a family lunch. I would highly recommend Forest Lodge to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed here with friends (3 couples), but I would also come back tomorrow with my kids. Rich & paul were amazing from start to finish. They both went above and beyond making our stay so special and a weekend to remember. We felt really relaxed, like we was staying with friends as soon as we arrived! The house, decor and gardens are beautiful and there was lots of little extra touches in the room - dressing grown, water, coffee machine, lovely toiletries. And the breakfast was delicious and great selection. We are already talking about another stay next year. Thank you rich and Paul for all your hardwork and making our weekend one to remember. George

Amazing hospitality, amazing food The rooms are amazing. Rich and Paul are the best hosts Can’t wait to go back. Great for when going to local wedding venue’s Taxis let us down so they were happy to take us. Went beyond the best hospitality. Very impressed

When booking a cheaper place to stay goes so much better than it should. We were all off to a wedding for the weekend (that was a hell of a wedding) most of the party we’re staying at a 5 star spa up the road. Not too bothered about a 5 star hotel this time we chose a small air bnb, with rooms in the owners house (something that should have put me off but the wife booked it and didn’t tell me). We arrived, found a very private, hidden in fact behind a high electric wooden fence was “Forest Lodge” We were greeted by one of the owners, Rich, who was immediately more of a host than someone just to get room keys from. He took us around the whole property, then left us to it while our other friends (3 other couples) arrived throughout the afternoon. Each time he did the same thing. The house has one upstairs and two downstairs rooms with e/s and a dining room for breakfast. Felt more like a small boutique hotel than an air bnb. The house has an outside garden by the house where we found ourselves every evening up chatting and enjoying the quaint calm of Forrest Lodge. It was the perfect place for relaxing after each day of the wedding. Breakfasts were great every day made for us by Paul and always delivered with a smile by Richard and usually a comedic quip or two to let us know we were welcome and to enjoy our stay. Thanks Paul and Rich we all had a terrific stay. Sorry if we kept up Thanks and good luck with everything.
