Although a little bit farther away from the train station, it is still accesible by public transport. Taxi is cheap and always available. We love the vibe of the area. Thanks to Yana for helping us out with all the useful information. Taxi came to get us in 3 mins as you have said.

The shower had mold growing trees. There isn’t a full time front desk. So getting in was very hard. The shower head was broken and because the water was cascading out the top it shot out the door and made a pond on the floor (slippery hazard) initially so I figured out around that and the room was microscopic. The photos look much larger, as through a special lense was used. In the bathroom you can basically turn around. The bedroom room was even smaller. The pictures must be old. It’s quite run down.

This is definitely a budget hotel. Came here with a friend over summer as it was the cheapest option we could find. We were not greeted with a very warm welcome. Staff do not speak good English and management came across as a little rude and intimidating which I didn’t expect for two girls travelling together and having my father working in the hotel industry for 26 years… demanded a 100 deposit , then it was 50 then it was 25. The area it is situated in is very safe and quite nice with lots of upmarket bars /reastraunts.

What a great deal! Yes, it is a bare minimum room, but for the price, that was to be expected. Jose at the front desk was super helpful with check-in, any issues, and even gave us some great tips for transport and exploring the area. Reviewers claiming he's rude just because he is more on the reserved side-- some people are quieter, some people are very friendly and talkative. Give him a chance! Hotel is in the center of the city so you'll get to see all the cool stuff within walking distance. It's loud at night; there are bars and restaurants right under the hotel. Wear your headphones or go join the party downstairs. Really cute view of a park outside our window too!

Nice hotel. Staff very friendly. Staff speak some English and I spoke some Italian so we got there. Good location. Rooms functional and clean. On the morning we were leaving there was no water to flush the toilet and the shower temperature was tepid at best. We used the shower anyway. Reported to the staff who said there was a boiler problem and were straight onto it. Hopefully done for the next people. Tip: if you search ‘Hotel XXII Marzo’ on Google or Apple Maps it takes you to a different area. Search for ‘Hotel 22 Marzo’ and you get the right place. No idea why it is listed as the former in **********

This hotel is the Worst I have ever experienced, the room was unclean at arrival with drunk and noisy disturbing barvisitors knocking on the door in the night, water dripping from the cieling, a toilet that couldn’t flush, a clogged sink and absent unprofessional personal more busy with their personal phonecalls than with their jobs, speaking very poor english but yet managing to be rude. Milan is a beautiful city, but I would recommend you to stay out of this hotel.

Never ever come this hotel if you do not want to find yourself at the door just because you raise your voice . Let me explain why I raised my voice.. The lady who speaks only Italian language and giving us wrong room with the child bed only ( even we booked king size bed ) and once we asked for our correct room she has talked with hotel manager 2 am at night while keeping us wait for a long time and she gives her phone to me ( I am not sure if this is a correct action to give the phone without asking approval of the guest due to covid they need to be sensitive about hygiene as they mentioned in their hotel description ) and while I was expecting a ''sorry because of giving a wrong room and keep waiting us "' he has talked in a very rude way and informed us we have to pay 20 euro additional because of our late checkin. I am totally agree they can ask for late checkin fee. However the reason I choose this hotel is the good reviews and just one night stay as we will checkin late and checkout very early morning. Once I found that property on booking it was 69 euros however once I complete my booking it suddenly become 100 EURO's. However with the late checkin fee it will become 120 euros room only which will be equal the same price of 4 stars bed and breakfast properties in the area. ( additionally the rooms are not not not the same as the images they are publishing online ). In the end I told them to refund my 100 euros and I decide not to stay in such a place and the same lady told us to wait outside and she locked the door and never came again. We were with our luggages in the street 3 am at night. We have received several threatening messages from the hotel management as well seems like they did not want to refund our money and tried to scare us not to approach them again.

The rooms do not look like in the pictures which you see in ***********: I could see two rooms because in the first one the air conditioning was broken and both rooms looked like the ones of an old youth hostel. See photos. Cleaning leaves a lot to be desired. In the bathroom the shower has loads of mold (muffa, Schimmel!). The air ventilator is cloaked with white fluffy dust. At the reception: the girl is friendly, but while she sits there she is working for a call center. This means that if you need something, like in my case a room change, you will need to wait for a long time, until she has a break. In my case about 45minutes. The receptionist is able only to open the door and give you the room keys, if you have special requests like for example having an Invoice, this needs the assistant of someone-else over the phone. I can not review the breakfast because it was not offered as the coffee machine was broken. I paid 88 Eur for this. All in all, a no go and I would not recommend anyone to stay here.
