I cannot comment on the location or hotel facilities as we didn't even make it that far. Our flight was delayed and upon landing and switching my phone on, I had several missed calls and messages from the hotel asking where we were. I then received a phone call where a gentleman very rudely and aggressively told me that they had been trying to call since 4pm (this was at 6pm) and why didn't I answer. I explained that I couldn't answer as I was on the flight over from the UK and that our flight had been delayed. He shouted down the phone that his staff wanted to go home and that if we weren't there by 7pm then we wouldn't be able to stay in the hotel. Again, I explained that the flight had been delayed, we had literally just landed and it was 6pm and the hotel was 53km away we might be a little after 7pm. He said under no circumstances would his staff be staying beyond 7pm so we would have to find somewhere else, despite the *********** listing saying that check-in between 7pm-10pm was available for a 35 euro surcharge which we would of course paid. We were left in the middle of Milan on a Friday night with no accommodation, I have never encountered such terrible customer service in my life, through something like a delayed flight which was completely out of our control.
