We were received by D. Fabia in a very friendly and welcoming way, with a room upgrade! The house used to be a farm that has been beautifully refurbished to accommodate guests. It is a wonderful place, a lot of care and detail have been put in the beautiful decoration. The colourful and lush garden with the swimming pool is ideal to relax. In spite of the lack of water in the region, it is wonderfully maintained. The artificial grass looks perfect and is environmentally friendly as the water is scarce in this region of Portugal. You can start wonderful hikes along the river Douro from Aldeia Nova, ask Ms. Fabia for recommendations. And it is always interesting to have a chat with her husband who is a retired teacher of Mirandês and has deep knowledge of local culture and language. Our stay in Aldeia Nova, Miranda do Douro, was at the end of a wonderful 5 day trip to Douro Valley, the home of the famous Port Wine and Puial de l Douro was definitely a perfect place to stay.

Tivemos uma experiência maravilhosa em nossa hospedagem em Miranda do Douro. A senhora Flávia, anfitriã excepcional, nos recebeu com tanto carinho e atenção que nos sentimos em casa desde o primeiro momento. A sua hospitalidade é incomparável, sempre se preocupando com cada detalhe para tornar nossa estadia perfeita. Nos deu dicas importantes de onde comer e o que conhecer na região. O quarto estava sempre aconchegante e em uma temperatura ideal, o que foi um alívio após os passeios na rua. Além disso, o café da manhã preparado pela senhora Flávia era delicioso, feito com muito cuidado cuidado e carinho. O ambiente é perfeito para quem busca descanso e conexão com a natureza. Ficamos encantados com Miranda do Douro e com a serenidade da hospedagem. O único arrependimento foi ter reservado poucos dias ali, já que a vontade era de permanecer muito mais tempo. Recomendamos de olhos fechados para quem planeja visitar Miranda do Douro. Agradecemos imensamente à senhora Flávia por tornar nossa viagem tão especial!

Fantástico alojamiento rural, la casa, las instalaciones, el desayuno y Fabia. Como íbamos con una niña pequeña nos tuvimos que alojar en uno de los apartamentos pero, ni tan mal, con cocina, chimenea (que FABIA nos encendía a media tarde), buen tamaño y cama cómoda. Los desayunos son a parte, fantásticos y caseros. El alojamiento un 9, Fabia un 10

Óptimo alojamento e um.dos melhores alojamentos rurais que já estive hospedado. Limpeza excelente, boa decoração e excelentes comodidades. Anfitriões bastante atenciosos. Um sossego completo. Boa piscina tratada a sal. Alojamento a curta distância de vários trilhos, miradouros e locais/aldeias interessantes. A escassos 10 minutos de Miranda do Douro.

Relva sintética abunda na propriedade. Malcriadez, arrogância e falta de hospitalidade da d. Fabia! Apesar da proprietária ter facultado toalhas para a piscina e de nos ter dito ao telefone que a piscina estava a funcionar, não se via o fundo da mesma, devido ao estado da água (verde acastanhada opaca) , no segundo dia e após termos usados, foi nos dito afinal não havia obrigação de ter a piscina com água própria porque a época balneária ainda nao ter começado! Caso pretenda reservar pense duas vezes... Procure melhor, pois não falta gente na região gente com bom coração e cheia de hospitalidade para bem receber.
