Hotels near Kurima Bridge, Miyakojima

It's really close to the airport (about a 5-10 minute drive). Unfortunately, there's no airport shuttle. But you can ask the front desk to call a taxi. Although there are occasionally small insects in the room, but since it's outdoors, it's unavoidable, so it's tolerable. If you don't want to go out at night, you can go to a nearby FamilyMart (about a 10-minute drive) before check-in to buy snacks, cookies, beer, etc. You can also order pizza delivered to your room (It's not bad, but the crust is a bit soggy). The view from the window is truly beautiful; you can see the most beautiful sunset on Miyako Island. There's also a small swimming pool on the rooftop. There are two sinks, which is just right—no conflict when brushing your teeth or washing your face. There are cups in the room cabinets so you can bring up coffee from downstairs. There's also a restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, selling souvenirs, snacks, clothes, etc. We didn't get breakfast included, but the convenience store downstairs sells rice balls 🍙.

I enjoyed the natural beauty of Miyakojima and Shimojishima Island at Meer Hotel. It was easy to get there from Shimojishima Airport as bus number 9 stops right in front of the accommodation. I could also take bus number 9 to Painagama Beach and Maehama Beach. It was great to cook meals with my family at Meer Hotel, and the towels were changed regularly, which was a nice touch. They even lent us a Wi-Fi device, which was a huge help for our trip. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and provided lots of helpful information, making for a wonderful week. I'd love to visit Miyakojima again and this is definitely a hotel I'd return to. Thank you so much! P.S. If you go behind the accommodation at night, you can see the stars. There are many palm trees right next to the hotel, giving it a real tropical feel. Don Quijote, a local produce market, Aeon Drugstore, and Aeon (Maxvalu) supermarket are all within a 5-minute walk, making it the perfect location for a trip.

Great experience in Miyakojima! Location: The hotel is located in the center of the city, which is super convenient as a starting point to anywhere of the island: from here, the taxi to any direction is within 30 minutes at a cost of less than 3,000 yen. There is a FamilyMart across the road and you can get anything needed easily. And there are a lot of good dining places in the neighborhood. I made no reservation to any restaurant but just take a short walk randomly to the nearby restaurant every day and always find delicious food (there is one Japanese-style wagyu BBQ across the street which is super good!). Room: The room is cozy and spacious. You won’t feel it too narrow to open your suitcase as hotels in Japan elsewhere. The bed is comfortable. Facilities: There is a microwave in each floor, which is useful especially you need to leave early in the morning and have no time for breakfast. And there are also washing machines and dryers on the 1st floor, which is a must-have if you have activities in the sea. If there is any improvement I must say, that is the light in the room is too dim and it is not easy to do makeups.

Anyway, it's very good. Equipment も Qili だし, big family to けで the most suitable だと think います. (I was a family of five) There is a beach nearby and there is a pool in the hotel, so it is an environment that is easy to play. Breakfast is also very delicious. Finally, the surrounding environment is good because the Shigira group is managed together.

My room was bright and well-designed, with a comfortable bed, fast Wi-Fi, and all the essentials for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the washing machine and mini-kitchen, which made the trip more convenient. Everything felt new and well maintained. The location is ideal—just a short drive from Miyako Airport and close to supermarkets and local eateries. It was easy to pick up food or hop in the car to the beaches. Sunayama Beach and Yonaha Maehama were both within quick reach. Despite the convenience, the neighborhood was quiet at night, allowing for a restful sleep. Parking was simple and free, which is a huge plus on Miyako Island. The self-service system meant I could come and go at any time without worrying about reception hours. Overall, Bibi Hotel Miyako Kukomae offers great value, comfort, and convenience. It’s perfect for travelers who want a clean, practical, and well-located base while discovering the beauty of Miyako Island.

I used it for diving. The washing machine was helpful, but I wish there was a facility to dry on the veranda.

After seeing a recommendation from a YouTuber, I decided to stay at this hotel on the last day of my trip. It turned out to be a wonderful, comfortable stay that exceeded my expectations, completely relieving me of my travel fatigue. First of all, the room was extremely well-equipped with amenities and was extremely clean and comfortable. Of particular note was the large public bath, where I could refresh myself after a long day of travel. It was truly helpful for me to be able to relax both body and mind on my last night. The dining bar on the first floor also had a stylish and comfortable atmosphere, making it especially perfect for couples. Both dinner and breakfast were of high quality and very satisfying. Of course, there are many attractive restaurants around the hotel, making the location convenient for finding a great choice. Furthermore, there was a souvenir shop nearby, which was very helpful as I was able to successfully purchase souvenirs I had forgotten to buy on my last day. Because it's located in the city center, parking was charged, but the convenience and satisfaction outweighed that.

In a separate fenced room there is air conditioning, a clothes hanger, a futon, a pillow and a light blanket, that's enough. There is a shared refrigerator, you can fry toast, shower and toilet separately for men and women. There is a good store next to the hostel, a place for snorkeling, you can buy coffee. From the airport you can get there by bus 7 or with a transfer first by bus 9, then bus 7. If I can, I will come again!❤️

The most enjoyable part of our stay was the location, which was close to Sunayama Beach. The staff were also very accommodating and kindly provided us with two extra pillows upon request. However, there was an unpleasant odor in the room when we checked in, though I couldn’t identify what it was. We also checked out 15 minutes late, and a cleaning staff member knocked on our door. She was polite and friendly throughout the interaction. Unfortunately, our flight was canceled due to a typhoon, and the hotel did not refund the first night of our stay, which was disappointing. Overall, the stay was okay, with both positive and negative aspects.

It was very good to have a washing machine and bathroom dryer. The location was good in front of the beach and in front of the bus stop. The shampoo conditioner was also good with PORA. It would have been better if there was tea pack tea coffee for drinks.
