I stayed at Meichen Hotel in Mizhi County. The advantage is that it is very close to Li Zicheng's Palace, Mizhi Poyi Exhibition Hall and Mizhi Cave Ancient City. The disadvantage is that the hotel charges 130 yuan for a double bed room, which I think is totally not worth it and is very simple, but the proprietress is not bad and gave me two more bottles of water.

I booked this hotel because it had a high score on Ctrip. But the reality was very bleak. It was on a crowded street, with few parking spaces, dark and narrow corridors, small rooms, and no dry and wet separation in the bathroom. It was just a small family hotel. I don't know how it got a high score on Ctrip.
