Cardamom County by Xandari

First time I visited Thekkady which it was great visit to stay in Cardamom county by Xandari, I came with my family which we are 12 members as we took 4 rooms. Everything was excellent in term of all hospitality service level from welcome time till we checkout. Even all my friends in social media asking about the resort from different countries which I provided them the resort details. Many thanks to entire team and sure will come back to visit again and again while I’m in Thekkady.

I loved the food here and the perimeter. The pool was the best for me because there was a little pool area for kids to and a big area for people who know how to swim and for older kids. I loved this area!!

Absolutely a 5++++ Best experience in Thekaddy out of all my 9 visits! They took incredible care of our tour of group of 10. Reception, supporters, Syuru docto and therapists and the food! Did I mention the excellent location, the dreamy pool or the luscious natural environment??? Everything you'd ever want is there and the best prices also.

Dates of Stay: September 6th-8th, 2025 Overall Impression My stay at Cardamom County Resort was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The well-maintained atmosphere and spacious, clean rooms provided a perfect escape into nature. The entire staff was exceptionally cordial, making me feel welcome and well-cared for throughout my stay. Room and Accommodation The rooms were clean, well-appointed, and spacious, offering a comfortable and luxurious experience. I was particularly impressed with the balcony, which provided a spectacular view of the surrounding forest, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the natural beauty of the area. Service and Staff The service was outstanding. Every staff member was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to assist us. I would like to give a special mention to Shabana at the reception for her exceptional service and warm hospitality. Food and Dining We enjoyed the lunch, dinner, and breakfast, all of which were very tasty and full-filling. The food was delicious and had a great variety. A special thanks to Rahul and Biju at the restaurant, who were incredibly helpful in assisting us to choose the perfect dishes and other items from the menu. Facilities and Activities The resort's ambiance is truly lush and green, creating a calm and peaceful environment. I was pleased to see their commitment to eco-friendly practices, including the use of non-plastic materials and the availability of an electric vehicle charging facility. A highlight of our trip was the cultural performance by Roshana, whose semi-classical and classical dance was truly captivating. Wildlife During our stay, we had a very unique experience of spotting black monkeys, which were very rare to see. It was a pleasant surprise and added a memorable touch to our time there. Location The location of the resort is ideal for nature lovers, offering a serene environment while still providing easy access to nearby attractions. Final Recommendation I would highly recommend Cardamom County Resort to anyone seeking a peaceful and relaxing getaway in nature, especially for couples and families. It offers a perfect blend of comfort, excellent service, and natural beauty. Final Rating: 9/10

Cardamom county a wonderful resort,though located in town once we enter the property is calm and greenish.Very neat and clean rooms(county cottages),beautiful big well maintained swimming pool,Restaurant was SUPERB in all aspects ambience,food quality (very tasty &delirious )service.All staffs from front desk to restaurant offered nice service with smile.

Spacious and impeccably clean rooms, prompt service and good food. The sitout space annexed with rooms was my favourite.
