We knew the hotel was under construction and there was no restaurant available; however, there was no vending machine; no recommendations on places to order food from (we arrived in the evening w/torrential rains and were very hungry after a long flight). We had to get in the car to look for some place to eat.
Parking: Although parking is nearby, there isn't any covered connection to get to the hotel, so we had to wait about 10 minutes in the car until the rain subsided a bit to be able to walk to the hotel entrance.
The remodeled rooms are spacious and very nicely decorated. Only recommendation is to add a safe in the room to store small valuables.
Also, we were surprised to see that the new bathrooms did not have an exhaust fan to get rid of some of the humidity.
Location is nice. Very near to downtown and Dauphin street and the staff was friendly.

The bed was comfortable. We received a message after we booked that the hotel was under construction but that the rooms were all renovated. The parking is not included and not convenient. There was no lobby to the hotel. The biggest thing was we did not have hot water and the toilet was questionable about flushing. We told the staff the hot water was not working and they told us because we were on the 11th floor that the pipes were too far away and it takes time for the hot water to travel. We left it on for 20 min and it still wasn’t hot to which they said it’s just the way the building is made. I think the building has potential. I wouldn’t stay there until their construction is finished… and ask for a room on the lower floors if you want hot water.

Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. No lobby or restaurant, currently. But, you are two blocks from multiple great bars and restaurants.

So, after staying 4 nights I receive a text message from their GM Chris, stating that their cleaning woman reported that a purple figurine was missing from inside the room and that there would be an extra $35 dollar charge to my card. I explained that I didnt take the figurine and that their cleaning woman must have taken it since it was reported missing. After arguing with Chris for several minutes he stated that he wouldn't charge mt credit card anything extra. Im only reporting this because Mardi Gras will be celebrated at this location very soon and I see this as a way that the hotel will try to get extra money from their guest. Be cautious of this facility.

Nice room. Unfortunately the hotel is being remodeled so no restaurant or facilities and the reception is nothing like the planned future reception area. Should be very nice once the work is completed

The property is under renovation, which they mention in *******. The front desk agent was decidedly unfriendly. But the room was lovely and I slept well.
