Beishe Courtyard (Arctic Village)

This B&B is truly authentic Northeastern Chinese residence. The new house is spotless and tidy, especially the one with a kang (kang bed). It's so close to Polaris Square, the Northernmost Post Office, and the Heilongjiang River. The butler service is five-star, with shuttles to the scenic area entrance. The breakfast is incredibly filling, with corn porridge and flatbreads, and four side dishes from the garden—more than enough for two people. Neighboring is a cultural and creative cafe and Sen Ye Garden. They even gave us a free room upgrade, which we were so grateful for!

The location of the B&B is quite good, about a five-minute walk from Qixing Square. The owner is very friendly and the service is excellent. The room is very clean. The earth pit style is very cozy. The water heating system under the earth pit is already in use this season. If the bath towels were replaced with cotton and the toilet paper was of better quality, it would be perfect.

The room window is on the corridor but there is no curtain, the environment is particularly beautiful.

The store has great service and the food is delicious.

The room is okay. It may be a little damp, so there is still some odor. The overall hygiene is good and the temperature is moderate.

The room has a very Northeastern style. The uncle and aunt in charge are very welcoming. The only problem is that the heating is quite loud in the morning and evening, probably from boiling water, which slightly disturbs sleep. I hope this can be improved. Everything else is great. I slept well and ate well. 😂
