Blackwood Park Cottages Mole Creek

I stayed in one of the Aerial Cottages and could not have been happier. It’s a stunning location, and a lot of thought/care has gone into the design and kitting out of these cottages. Particularly loved the spa on the deck and the bathroom! Would recommend to my friends.

We had 2 enjoyable nights in the Hobbit cottage (previous stay in this cottage was 2014 and we stayed in Ariel 1 in 2021). It is a lovely heritage cottage with a wood fire and plenty of room. You get breakfast provisions and full oven to cook. The property is beautiful and the area is lovely. Our only issue is that the chairs in the lounge are not comfy at all. We gave Yuko this feedback as we left which was graciously received. We will be back.

My wife researched and booked this accomodation, bloody good selection. We we’re treated by Simon and his 2 friendly dogs, received a rundown on the amenities then left alone. A hour later an awesome platter of local cured meats and cheeses . . . And a rundown on the truffles. Very nice. After a day’s walk at Cradle Mountain the hot tub was extremely well received. Provisions for breakfast were again all local (even the Beerenberg jams are just up the road from our place in Adelaide . . . Hahndorf 😘) Even with an overcast day the scenery from the porch was fantastic, so much to see, so much to do but sipping wine reading a book suited us just fine. Combustion heater and ample firewood added to the experience. Anyone who asks, more than happy to recommend this spot. For those inclined, 4G was available and wifi along with Netflix was easily available (Not sure you’d need it)

Blackwood Cotages , fantastic cottages sandstone and tassie timbers , great wood fired oven , outside hot tub . Local produce supplier for breakfast, very quiet countryside setting with great views of the mountain range .

The cottages are quaint, comfortable and spotless. The animals on the farm make the experience even more enjoyable. , especially the dogs who are just gorgeous. The host, Shane is super friendly and loves a good chat talking about the area,. The breakfast included is next level, fresh bacon from a nearby pig farm, eggs from the chickens where you stay and the most delicious home made jams and more.. we would absolutely stay here again when next in town.

Perfect setting, if your in this areas this is the place to stay, beautiful cottages, very comfortable bed, everything you will need is in the cottage, very relaxing stay. All local attractions are only a short drive away.
