The hotel was in a great location; rooms were large and comfortable; very clean in all locations; excellent rooftop bar; friendly and helpful staff; perfect in all aspects.

very very good! ! Because my husband didn’t really want to stay in a motel, I didn’t have high expectations at first, but it turned out to be surprisingly good. The room is big and clean! It was a very comfortable stay. The location is also very good. There is a famous restaurant next to it. The oysters are really delicious. A really satisfying hotel~

This was the best meal we have had so far on our trip to NSW. Every dish was outstanding. The venue decor is also superb. It’s such a pity that the service was so poor. From the guy who brought us to our table, who was cold and uninterested, to the slow service, they really let the chefs down who are on top of their game

Dropped in for a cocktail (have been meaning to for a few years). $20 margaritas - were ok. Disinterested staff - maybe 7 on (2 on a break - that’s ok too!). Could have had another one but they were more interested in chatting amongst themselves

We are on our way back from a wonderful weekend at Bannisters Pavilion with a big smile on our faces. It lived up to all our expectations and more: fabulous and friendly staff, a comfortable room with everything you need and just a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. Even a complementary birthday bottle of bubbly. The joys of a boutique hotel. The food was delicious and we couldn’t fault a single thing, including the breakfast that came with our deal. Great menu. And great coffee! We thought the food and wine was good value. We even managed a couple of hours around the pool to soak up that holiday feel. Next time I’d ask which rooms are best positioned - we had a car park view. Not particularly aesthetically pleasing but not really an issue either. Would highly recommend a stay. We ate at Rick Stein’s restaurant too, which was also great. But I think we preferred the relaxed vibe of the Pavillion.

Great hotel very close to the beach in Mollymook. Comfortable rooms with gorgeous green views of the Forrest. Book at the end away from the restaurant for a more serene experience. Great restaurant and bar and lots of outdoor space to lounge about.

There is no reason to charge the amount of money Bannisters does ($600 for 1 night in Pavilion Classic, inc breakfast for 2 on a Sat/Sun. Mid week seems to be $355). Honestly if you can find an air bnb or something closer to the golf club area for cheaper, do that instead. The room was nice, spacious and it did have heated towel racks. Pretty standard views. Overall not nice enough for that price tag. The the whole place was dated. The internet kept dropping out. The pool area was fairly small - the online photos are very deceptive. Again, it was nice but nothing special or worth the money you pay. Rooftop restaurant again, food was nice but nothing special, Overpriced and could get anywhere really. The bar was table service only…which was strange. I think the Bannisters/Rick Stein name is what pulls people in but once you’re there, you realise that you have paid for a name

The hotel was really nice and quiet. It was also fairly private as the outlook on our side was to a heavy tree screen keeping prying eyes away. The pool was great, the food was great and the coffee cart out the front was great. If you didn't want to eat at the hotel, there was a takeaway and a pizza place across the road (the pizzas were nice!).

The doors to the rooms are very unusual in that you need to tap the key to exit as well as enter.
