Stayed for two nights this week. This hotel is spotless and the food was delicious (always hot). Staff were amazing, really friendly and helpful. Used the spa for a swim, sauna and a steam, very enjoyable. Christmas decorations appeared over night and they were gorgeous. Lovely bar and drinks.

We had a wonderful stay in four seasons. Food was delicious and our upgraded room for our anniversary was absolutely stunning. The little extra card and chocolates also very thoughtful. Can’t wait to return .

My family and I had Sunday lunch recently in this hotel. The staff were very welcoming when we arrived. We had drinks in the bar before our meal. The bar is very bright and spacious. We were seated in the restaurant and presented with the menu quickly. The food was delicious and was served quickly. It was a great meal and the service was very quick.

Celebrating my nieces wedding and the whole weekend was great from start to finish. Food and staff were top notch and we were all made feel at home. We had a family room which was very comfortable for the four of us and the running of the wedding and the day 2 celebrations were flawless.

We stayed here 20 years ago and still same memories - Fantastic staff namely Fiona on reception and restaurant/bar staff too who all go out of their way to help guests. Food fabulous and highly recommend!! Heating in room (not on when we arrived late) on thermostat radiators did not seem to work although on highest setting. Reported to reception next morning and they provided electric heaters which were OK but still not great. Next day radiators worked?? Corridors on 1st floor were freezing cold. Cleaning not great either sorry including bedrooms & corridors. Real shame as iconic hotel that i have known about for about 30+ years. Definitely in need of update as very tired in bedrooms. Appreciate weather was very cold but disappointed how chilly rooms/corridors were. Would we stay again? Sadly not unless improvements made.

We had a wonderful few days in this fabulous hotel . Our room was super .. it was clean tastefully decorated and very comfortable and quiet . The staff were warm and friendly . Ann Marie , Frank and James were very welcoming with an upgrade to a suite and a bottle of bubbly in the room on arrival . Highly recommend this hotel . Thank you Marion and Cyril
