Domìa Boutique Hotel e Cucina

Domia Boutique Hotel made it was one of the most pleasant stays. The intimate environment was cozy with minimalistic style. The rooms were squicky clean. Check-in and check-out was smooth and the front desk was friendly and took great care of the guests. Breakfast and lunch were outstanding. The food was fresh and delicious. The swimming pool was a life saver during the hot summer days. I would stay at Domia again and would recommend to others.

We were not staying at the hotel, but our B&B recommended Domia and made the reservation for us. And what a find. It was the final night of our holiday and this meal meant it ended on a high. The quality and presentation of all the food was amazing, and the service was superb. They were quite busy as there was a large party in, but the amazing waitresses Sally and Costanza handled it all, and made us feel very welcome. We were concerned that it was going to be an expensive meal, but it was very reasonable and simply delicious. I would highly recommend a visit.

We took over most of this fabulous hotel for a family reunion. The proprietors were incredibly accommodating for all ages! including making special pancakes for breakfast for the young ones with allergies, and buying enough swordfish in the market for a full sit down dinner for the adults. The hotel and service were truly exceptional!!!

I could write an endless list of reasons to recommend this beautiful hotel, but simply put it is just an absolutely fabulous place to stay. Lovely, kind and welcoming staff, great room, lovely pool and relaxation area and amazing food & service. Truly 5 star. Thanks to Angela, Floriana, Jussi, Valentina and all in the kitchen and house team for a truly wonderful and memorable holiday. Grazie mille. Take me back to Domia!

We spent 7 nights here at the start of September and it felt like we’d been there for weeks when we left, so relaxed were we. We’d gone to Palermo as our friend was getting married but wanted to stay outside of the city. We couldn’t have picked a better hotel. Prior to going I’d emailed to ask for a hairdresser recommendation. This was sorted easily and Giuseppe’s sister came to the hotel and put my hair up. She did a wonderful job. The hotel is small and so quiet. We were in room 3 which backed on to the kitchen. I’m a light sleeper and did worry but the soundproofing is excellent. We never heard anything. I slept well every night! The air con was excellent which was much needed due to high temperatures and the room was lovely. It was cleaned every day. The pool is a welcome respite when it’s hot and there’s plenty of loungers and umbrellas. It is close to the beach and the hotel has a key to a gate that cuts off some time. There’s a supermarket about 5 mins walk. It’s small but has everything. Ask staff for recommendations for a local pizza place but book it. You can takeaway too. Nicest pizza I’ve ever had. The hotel’s restaurant is locally known as high quality. We ate there twice and the food is spectacular. Breakfasts are beautiful. If they have sugar donuts get two!! In fact get 2 of everything!! What makes this hotel so special are the staff. They are all fabulous and go out of their way to help and just be friendly. The owner is the same. Jussi, Constanza, Jason, Giuseppe and Valentina THANK YOU. The other staff are just as good but I did not catch their names so sorry! Jussi summed up this hotel. She said she loves to work there which to me says it all. If staff are happy then so are guests. The owner is looking at getting the pool heated next year and considering Christmas openings. I will be going back.

Domia is the quintessential boutique hotel. I really don't have any criticisms. It delivered everything we expected from a boutique experience: - It is a beautiful hotel - with spacious and functional rooms - It is peaceful - there are only 9 rooms so you often have the entire pool to yourself! - Personalised service - the staff are excellent and really make you feel at home (special shout out to Giuseppina and Valentina!) - The food is fantastic - restaurants in Mondello are hit and miss so Domia is always a reliable option. Breakfast is Amazing! All the Sicilian pastries and eggs made to order - Prime location - 5 minute walk to the beach, but just the right distance away from the busy bay area.
