My wife and I stayed at Lavendish Leisure on the 22nd December 2025. After arrival, we were shown to our room 305 on the second floor, with the hotel staff carrying the bags to our room. The external appearance on entering the hotel is not impressive. However, the airconditioned room was quite spacious and clean with fresh white sheeting on two queen sized beds. The long table on one side of the room allowed us to keep our baggage there comfortably. Other items in the room inculded a tv, fridge, a kettle and tea bags and a stool. The far side of the room opened to a veranda that had four chairs and a little table. I enjoyed my evening drink seated there. This corridor in all rooms overlook the swimming pool located on the first floor. The toilets were clean. The towels were fresh. They phoned us and requested us to order our dinner from of the available menu items. We had fish and chips along with soup as our main dinner meal and a fruit platter as dessert. It was tasty. Although the restaurant was quite large, there were not many guests. The dinner service was quick and prompt and waiters friendly. Food was tasty. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of dishes both Sri Lankan and Western.
