Best premier inn I’ve been to with good convenient facilities and very helpful staff. Great location which was easy to get to and conveniently situated for the town, roads and a petrol station. It was very clean and tidy too. Certainly the best of the motels I’ve stayed in!

Lovely comfortable stay friendly helpful staff . Meal package and was fantastic and great value for money. The evening meal was delicious and all you can eat breakfast was great. The hotel is in a great location with it being a short walk from the local town of Monmouth and a short drive from the Forest of Dean.

We booked another stay at Premier inn Monmouth for 3 nights . The hotel was very busy, car park was full. We were asked if we wanted to book breakfast for Sunday, we weren't sure of what time we wanted to eat, we were advised that they were busy from 08:00 -08:30, as group of 17 booked in. We came down at 09:00 only to be told no available tables as they were expecting a group of 17. Mixed communication. (We went to Weatherspoons) It was good to see Emma & Tracy again, with their smiles and good customer service. Rooms were clean, bed so comfortable. There were no water glasses in room. Hotel did seem in need of some TLC, mud on staircase, stained carpet in room, walls a bit battered in bathroom. We arrived at breakfast at 08:10 on Monday, to a near empty restaurant, chose continental breakfast, no orange juice, were told waiting for a delivery. On Tuesday morning, a notice stating - 'juice update' due to global shortages orange juice may not be available. Must be the same reason that there was no brown bread, also no sirloin steak Monday evening. We were surprised that there were so many issues this time as our stay in Monmouth is usually very good.

I stayed at the Monmouth Premier Inn for a work trip. Great location, very close to the centre high street, but also round the corner from a general convenience store to buy anything I might have needed during the trip. The room was very comfortable and quiet, pristine bathroom, and the breakfast was good. It would have been nice to have more vegetarian options on the cooked side, but there is also the continental breakfast option with cereals, yoghurt, bread, pastries etc so overall good range of choice. Lovely staff as well.

Nice quiet stay, slept well. Staff wise. I was greeted well and in the morning Kelsey was a star. Credit to the company. As a trades person it was was very encouraging to be welcomed like any other guest. Unfortunately it's not always that way with other hotels.

Stayed here for one night as we were seeing a show in the town. Really convenient to the high street. Hotel clean & tidy. Room was a lovely little attic room. I loved that there was extra tea, coffee etc in reception to help yourself to. Would stay again

Ideal location for visiting Monmouth. Hotel was clean and staff welcoming and helpful. Lovely cooked breakfast. Evening meals excellent with plenty of choice and good value for money. Maybe the eggs at breakfast would be better cooked to order as sometimes the ones on display may have been there for sometime and were quite rubbery, However chef was always happy to cook fresh. Plenty of choice. Lovely stay!
