Amazing experience at Chateau Nazelles! We stayed in the Terra Alta room and it was such a cool and unique stay. The Nordic bath was amazing to come back to after exploring during the day. The breakfasts were outstanding with all local and organic ingredients. Veronique was so sweet and offered help with anything we needed. The grounds are stunning and you truly feel like you’re in a fairytale. Only 5 minutes from Amboise and a great middle ground for exploring Loire. Highly recommend!

So peaceful and relaxing, with a warm welcome from our host and of course Poppy. Faultless breakfast each morning with home produced/locally sourced ingredients (tasty, moist carrot cake today). Comfortable room with a lovely view from our room. Really couldn't have wished for a better start to our trip.

Traveling as 3 couples in Amboise area. A historical property with beautifully restored rooms. Owner extremely helpful making sure all our needs were met from reservations for dinner to transport services. Wonderful breakfast with local goodies. The experience was well worth the extra effort in driving outside of Amboise to have this unique experience among the chateaus of Loire Valley.

This place is magical and to add to the magic - there is a fairy in the form of the owner, Veronique. She will make all your wishes come true and is the most perfect hostess! My husband and stayed here 3 nights and couldn’t have been happier. Delicious breakfast- attentive staff…. Even could do a load of laundry for a nominal fee.

Comfortable room with a great view. We woke up to an amazing sunrise and view of hot air balloons in the distance. The property has nice outdoor places to sit and enjoy your wine and cheese. Also, hiking trails gave to more good views of the valley. Parking was available and I was glad we had a small car to get through the stone arched entryway.

Romantic, charming and secluded. If you want a romantic experience for your prince or princess, this is it. The hotel is situated in a period manor/castle that takes you back to the age of nobles and monarchs with tasteful and subtle decor. The pictures on their website are accurate. Because the hotel only has a limited number of rooms, it is very peaceful. We opted for the breakfast which was all organic and home made. Absolutely fabulous. Thank you Pedro.

Magical. If guests are looking for a beautiful countryside Chateau feel…this is the perfect location. Quickly accessible by vehicle to Amboise or Vouray for tastings and fun! We enjoyed breakfast prepared on site. Consisting of warm crescent rolls, breads, local cheese and soft boiled eggs. Veronique’s knowledge of the restaurants is amazing! She directed us to the perfect locations! The grounds that surround the château are beautiful and private. We enjoyed an evening under the stars in the gardens, sipping on wine that we purchased locally purchased along with cheese's and crackers. An excellent choice for anyone to stay! Nazelles is a wonderful home for All Loire Valley activities. It is centrally located and offers a great view of the Valley very close to Amboise. Veronique is a delightful hostess with many great ideas and suggestions. She seems to know everyone and can get a last minute reservation at excellent eateries. Some of her rooms are Troglodytes rooms carved into the cliff. Three of us were very comfortable in the rooms above the guests common living-billiards room. We loved our time at Nazelles and look forward to returning.
