Staff was pleasant and friendly. Helpful. Breakfast area was clean. Basic breakfast offerings were good. Room stay had many issues: TV broken, no hot water in am, no shampoo and conditioner in tub, shower head was loose and barely hanging on, shower drain was partially plugged, water drained really slow, standing in 6 inches of H2O. No hair dryer, staff could not find one, iron did not work. 2 NASTY looking spiders in bathroom! One thing after another. Very disappointed.

Hotel is relatively clean and rooms are slightly smaller than a regular hotel room but fine for one night. Breakfast Orange Juice was like dyed orange water. Walmart across the street if you need anything and a nice small downtown a few miles away. For a 1-2 night stay it's perfect

I came to the area for work and had been in a couple of hotels. The MainStay in Clarion has welcoming staff and there is a stove top and full size fridge In the rooms. The beds are soft and the pillows are comfortable. Would recommend to others as a place to stay.

Friendliest place I Stopped at on my entire cross country drive with my wife. It is clean and welcoming. A gem tucked away just waiting for you to discover its genuine charm. My wife and I have only good things to say about this place.

We stayed for four days. The unit was very nice and exceptionally clean on the surface. However, the backsplash in the kitchenette had stains on the wall and the bathroom sink was clean on top, but not on the sides. The bed was very comfortable, the shower felt great. One issue that you need to watch for. The floors are not carpeted and the chair at the table has wheels but not arm rests. It is very easy for the chair to roll out from under you. That could be a serious safety issue. Since you are so close to the highway, it is noisy because of the traffic. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Also, the vent cover in the bathroom ceiling would not stay up and someone had unplugged the fan. Although we were almost the only people there, the WIFI was not good, but the TV was.
