Another even better stay! As mentioned this was our second stay in as many years. Staff friendliness, attention and welcoming has gotten even better than a very satisfying last trip. From being picked up at Robertsfield (airport) to being dropped off there, everthing worked out perfectly! Room (suite) was perfectly cleaned daily by an excellent housekeeping crew. Location is fantastic as anyone we wanted to meet showed up there at one point! Bilal does an excellent job in making sure that everything is up and running…leading by example! My home in Monrovia!

As a frequent guest of the Royal Grand Hotel, I'm consistently impressed, but my recent 10-day stay truly stood out. I was responsible for organizing a major event hosting high-level dignitaries from across Africa, and once again, the Royal Grand delivered flawlessly. The hotel's quality accommodations are always a given, but the exceptional service is what keeps me returning. Bilal, in particular, is simply outstanding. He's arguably the best hotel manager I know on the continent. His proactive problem-solving and responsiveness during the intricate logistical planning of our event were invaluable. Any potential issue was immediately addressed with a practical solution, ensuring a comfortable stay for all our guests. He is certainly an asset that keeps bringing value to the Royal , and he keeps getting better and better. For anyone planning an event, or simply seeking a top-tier hotel experience in Liberia, the Royal Grand, and especially Bilal's leadership, are unmatched. It's consistently my first choice, and for good reason.

Did not stay at the hotel but ate at Cafe Royal twice. Brought the family here for breakfast twice during our family trip to Monrovia. Were there during the breakfast/brunch time and you could either order from the menu or take advantage of the buffet. Our kids were a little tired of the traditional Liberian food we had been having for breakfast and were happy for the American style breakfast and options. The pancakes and omelets were good. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and there was plenty of seating for both small and larger groups. The service was a little slow on both times we were there but it did not bother us that much as we were on vacation. Overall it was a really good expereince and I would definitely recommend. We also picked up some coffee, donuts and juice drinks from the Donut Bar (also inside the hotel). Nice selection of options and the staff was very friendly.
