Grand Decameron Montego Beach, A Trademark All Inclusive

Friendly staff, excellent service , and fantastc sea view witch many activities nearby.Lots of photo opportunities. Inclusive drinks and food were ok, but would like more authentic Jamaican cuisine options.

The service was excellent from the reception area to the food area. We really enjoyed our stay. The food was a bit limited but it got better because we were able to dine over the other property with more options. Room and everywhere was clean.

I was very disappointed. Room looked nothing like what I booked online. They told me that was because Trip.com use different pictures but when I went in their site it was the same pictures. Was not very inviting. My toilet ran the whole time I was there. Took 2 days for me to get towels and when they did bring it and gave me 1 room service for a 3 day stay I did not even get a clean rag. Some of the workers were not very pleasant as if my stay wasn’t paid for in advanced. Would never stay here again unless they have a new management and improvements. Good luck! I enjoyed most of my stay outside looking at the ocean. So sad what ppl have to go thru for their hard working money.

I have never seen anything so horrible, dirty and fillthy in my life. The hotel is so so so so sos nasty and dirty I could not believe it omg. Check-in was this huge tast it was unbelivable. The staff are so in disregard mode. We got to the hotel about 3:30 PM, We did not get checked intill 4:50 PM, we had waited for so long we wanted to get a snack while waiting because we started getting hungry, they only had wings and some fries available at that time, and yoi can literally taste that the ffod was frozen food. Back to the hotel its self........ As we were heading to the room, house keeping were just leaving the room so my thinking is that "oh nice freshly clean" but guess what, I am still in shock to this day but am so glad I took pictures of what I had seen because you would never believe me if I told you. The room it self was so dusty and moldy, had this smell of old wood and mold. Immediately left the room with our luggage and went back downstairs to the reception, funny enough the manager was so interested to see the pictures first. Her initial response was "Can I see the pictures that you took" And am telling her like I paid all this money and am telling you the room is in unlivable condition and you are so worried about the pictures I took, it was not even like ok, let me see what I can do or maybe let me go see the room my self but NO, she kept pushing to see the pictures and send them to her email. Such a horrible experience we had to find another hotel that same evening at this time it was already 6 going 7 PM. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, NOT WORTH IT

After reading some of the reviews I was a bit hesitant to chose this hotel for our vacation but I will say I was extremely satisfied with the staff and overall experience! Seeing as we didn’t spend too much times in our room we enjoyed the buffet, pool bar & night events. Staff was super friendly and just made the experience unforgettable! Special shoutout to Zoe for amazing energy & entertainment every night! Jason the bartenders energy made it easy to relax and have fun! Another special shoutout to Jeraleo with maintenance & once again Jason the bartender who went above and beyond when my sister got hurt stayed by our sides and everyday kept asking if she was okay! Such amazing people! Would deff go back again

The check in was not very friendly. We never got towels. Luckily I bought my own with me. The room was a mess, no use in complaining no one will do anything. It’s beach front and on the ***** is the only thing nice about it. The food was horrible. The bathroom was filthy in all way.

Cute little hotel with mostly friendly staff.. If you are looking for a 5* this isn't the place for you. This is my 3rd time to the resort, and I liked it as much, if not more then the other 2 times. So check in was easy, we stayed in the building to the side rooms 2 and 6. We asked to have rooms together and they accommodated us the best they could with all of our requests. The check in was smooth and seamless. To note you get physical keys. Our rooms were huge with a patio out front and back. We had an ocean view as do all the rooms at this resort. The room was clean and had 2 double beds a table a chair my friends room had a chaise lounger and fridge. The food was decent l, though it is a small resort and buffet there was plenty food and I never had to wait in a line for my eggs in the am. To note you have access to the resort next door which has a bigger buffet and another Ala carte. We did the jamaican Ala carte the salmon was very good! For the most part the service in the buffet was good, you would get the odd time where no one would offer you water or you needed to look for cutlery. The property itself is well maintained I loved all of the decorations around the resort, makes it feel more authentic. The bars and their staff were great! Love me some red stripe! You never really had to wait to get a drink which was impressive. The entertainment staff both day and night were very engaging and a lot of fun! They really tried hard to get the guests participating in games and fun. The beach is small and there is no shade so we headed over to the sister resort and hung out under the big tree. The beach is lovely, bring your snorkle gear you may see some cool fish (cuddle fish, puffer fish and so on) the sand is course I brought water shoes and never wore them. The hot tub was nice if that's your thing. The pools were clean and fairly warm, I think thats to be expected with the weather in July. The gym is small and has various machines, it is also where you get your beach towels. I hesitate to even say this as I loved the resort and felt safe while there, but there was an intruder on the resort one night, and the photographer saw him and shot at him. The manager was open and honest about the incident, and it didn't make us feel any less safe. Despite this I would go back there again!

There are two sides to this hotel. Our group was housed in the dire need of renovation side of the hotel. The check in experience was not organized. Our reservations were made almost a year prior and the staff had a very difficult time finding the paperwork. The floor in my room was extremely dirty. The bathroom sink cracked. Shower head needed to be replaced. Rubber mat for the tub was filthy as and moldy (they replaced it with a new one but didn’t change the shower head). The curtains were sun blocking but had holes in them due to wear. The only good thing was the air conditioner worked very well and the bedding was crisp, clean and comfortable. The hotel manager was very nice. The dining room staff needed some attitude adjustment. It changed after a small tip. I would never return to this hotel unless you stay in the renovated rooms. Other people in our group had flooding issues; air conditioning issues and other issues.

I had a great time. The staff helped with making it a awesome time. Even through the hurricane still felt relaxed and safe. They did there job . Was an amazing week . The food was great. Thanks to all the great staff I would recommend this resort for a vacation anytime.
