Stelle di Monte

We had the most spectacular time staying at Stella Di Monte!! Nathalie and Igor, the owners, have a phenomenal story of how they discovered and restored the property into a charming guest house. They were so easy to work with during booking, including providing fantastic recommendations in the area. Breakfast each morning was fabulous, and the views are out of this world!! I would highly recommend this agritorismo to anyone visiting the Tuscany region. It’s more than just a stay – it’s an experience you’ll never forget!

If you’re going to Tuscany Stella Di Monte is a must. What an incredible and beautiful place this is. The rooms are wonderful and the views are so amazing it looks like a painting. This was the highlight of mine and my wife’s trip to Italy. Igor and Nathalie are wonderful hosts and breakfast overlooking the Tuscan countryside is breathtaking. I highly recommend reserving the private dinner in the wine cellar. The food and the atmosphere is beyond anything I could explain. We hope we will get the chance to visit there and the town of Montepuciano again!! Thank you Igor and Nathalie

This was one of the most charming and beautiful Italian villas. The owners redid the property with authentic stone, plaster and reclaimed woods. The Italian look was beyond gorgeous. The views were stunning and the owners and hosts gave so much attention to detail on making sure the stay was perfect. They recommended and booked winery and dinner reservations for us and we ate in house for chef created alfresco breakfasts and a dinner. I would recommend this to anyone wanting lovely accommodations, meals and service in Montepulciano Tuscany! Ciao!!!!

We have been visiting Montepulciano for over twenty years and for many of those we used to stop in an apartment next door when Stelle was still a wreck. The creation of this boutique hotel is incredible when you see what they started with. The service throughout was exemplary. Dinner was excellent as was the daily breakfast. The chance to once again wake to the best view in the region was wonderful. Thanks Igor and Nathalie for a great stay.

Stelle di Monte is the most amazing and special place! My husband and I recently went on a 3 week bucket list trip to Italy. We spent time in Amalfi Coast, Florence, Sienna and last but not least (and absolutely our favorite), Montepulciano in Tuscany. I don't know how I came across this gem of a bed and breakfast, but boy, am I glad I did! It was so incredibly special! A small ancient farmhouse that has been renovated so beautifully to this amazing 6 room bed and breakfast. Each room is unique and absolutely gorgeous! The hosts Nathalie and Igor were the best! So welcoming, we felt like family from the minute we arrived. We were greeted on the driveway and quickly taken in to the wine cellar to get a welcome glass of wine! They were so helpful with recommendations and other general information. AND.....Igor is an incredible chef and makes dinner each night (except for Sundays) for their guests. So delicious and intimate. If you are looking for a special place in Tuscany, look no further, this is THE place. THANK YOU Nathalie and Igor!

What a beautiful gem! Igor and Nathalie have created a 5-Star Resort within the walls of ruins. The location is prime, surrounded by sweeping views of the valley, adorned with olive groves and vineyards. You feel like you are literally in a postcard - spectacular. The bonus is that they are located just a short 3 minute drive to the city. We so enjoyed hearing all of the chapters of their story to obtain the property and all of their hard work to create such a magical place. The food was amazing - thank you Igor for the delicious meal, introducing us to the amazing squash & ricotta gnocchi. Igor's "hot sauce" was a tremendous hit - another added touch, making it specifically for us. An extra thank you to the both of you for the olive oil for the birthday boy! Truly a special place, run by very gracious hosts. If I could give it (10) Stars, I would. I cannot wait to return!
