El Castell Motel

It's one of the stops on Highway 1, not far from 17 Miles, quite convenient.

It's a bit noisy being near the road, and the facilities are a bit old, but the price is reasonable and the location is convenient. As a motel, it's a good place to stay for one night. Satisfied.

Good facilities, clean room and good value for money.

This was my first time staying in a motel near Carmel-by-the-Sea. The location was great, and the accommodation was clean. I recommend it.

On a large lot, the yard is beautifully landscaped with plenty of parking. There is also a small swimming pool but it was a bit cold so we didn't use it. The room facilities are quite complete at this price. There is a capsule coffee machine and the coffee tastes good. The surrounding environment also seems relatively safe, and there are no homeless or strange people. There is at least one Chinese restaurant and several fast food restaurants within a 5-minute walk, so eating out is not a problem if you don't have high requirements. Two minor issues: There is a railway nearby, and the passing trains will honk a little noisy; there are ants in the room, especially when you bring back food without processing it.
