Mariposa Inn and Suites

The room are spacious for a family of 4. The location just off the main road, we were worried about the road noise but fortunately we were able to sleep well with the good sound proof of the window and door. Breakfast choice not much. Bed is comfortable and clean. We are happy with the stay and definitely will stay here again.

We had the lovely room with the fireplace. Really cozy & it even had a private garden but we couldn't use it as it was rainy & quite cold. Overall good stay

Rude front desk kid. Pictures online are 10 X better than the room in person. Granted the room was clean all the furnishings like the sink and shower curtain rods were rusted. The room was big but come on rusted sinks and shower rods. It's gross. My room was on the first floor so I could hear everything and this place is on the corner of a very busy intersection so it's loud and was hard to sleep. Last thing was I how strong of chemicals the room smelled. I almost left as I have asthma and it was making hard to stay in the room. I would never stay here again.

Room clould have been a little more clean. Painters tape pieces still left around the shutters, water cap left in the shower, shampoo/conditioner/body wash were very gunky. Dark marks on the ceiling around the shower. Tub is extremely slippery (mat provided is very small for the size of the tub). Elevator stopped working on our second day and walking up and down stairs with kids and 6 months pregnant wasn't the best part of our staying either. Pool are was closed for the entire time we were there eventhough they told us it would be operational in ~3 hrs. Breakfast provided was as basic as it gets. Parking lot, surrounding area, and eating area were very clean. Staff 2/3 we encountered at the front desk were very friendly.

All around a good bargain! A little outdated feeling rooms but the city is the experience not the room.

The staff at check in was not friendly. Members of my party staying there also had the same comments after their check in experience. The continental breakfast is NOTHING like the images displayed. There were no warm food options such as eggs or protein. No waffle maker. Only things to choose from were breads or baked goods (that were not fresh) and cereals. I wouldn’t complain, except that the images online were nothing like what we experienced and clearly an imaged pulled from online.

When we first walked in, there was what seemed to be a manager and a subordinate arguing in front of myself and another guest. The first two sets of room keys didn’t work but a maintenance worker said that their system was acting up, so that was understandable. The A/C didn’t work very well, but the heater worked great. The jets in the jacuzzi tub did not work. The tv would not work, and when the front desk was called all we were told was, “Unplug it and plug it back in, that’s what works for me” instead of offering to send somebody up to help. The stay itself was not terrible and was in a great part of town, but I am only willing to give this place one last chance.
