We stayed at this lovely guest house with incredible views. The reception was very well handled by Perrinel who was a fountain of knowledge. She was friendly, courteous and efficient when we arrived for the check in. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she arranged everything for us that we needed including taxis and afternoon teas. If we return to Tuscany I would definitely not hesitate to return to this little gem.

We had a wonderful stay at Gallinaio this weekend. The setting is idyllic, off the beaten track and in the most beautiful surroundings of olive trees and nature. Our rooms were lovely and comfortable and we enjoyed using the pool very much. The staff were lovely, going to a lot of help and organising a mechanic when we had car trouble- thank you so much! We loved eating at the restaurant which served authentic, local and seasonal food- all of it 5 star and some of the very best food we’ve eaten in Italy with daily specials alongside their menu. The restaurant is laid out in the beautiful courtyard at the property and coming down to dinner felt a huge treat every evening. Suda who worked in the restaurant and bar was delightful and worked very hard to keep everyone happy. I really can’t imagine a better place to stay in Tuscany. We hope to return very soon! In the meantime we cannot wait to enjoy the olive oil produced by the borgo!
