Should improve maintenance. 2 dead roaches on the bedroom. Little things but not good things at all. Hotel is nice but this small things won’t help to the overall experience.

Just because its next to a Safi doesn't make it a Safi… save yourself the time and go somewhere else the floors smell good coming in and the bar is nice but as soon as you take the elevator up its smells like mold and dampness.. this is the worse hotel i have ever stayed at there were diapers under the beds and toe nail clippings already the night stand, also the bed sheets were stained with multiple colors of red and brown literally gave us an itch, we didnt even ask for a refund and just left to look for another hotel to shower with how bad this place was. NEVER AGAIN! After just coming out of surgery i felt i was going to get an infection with how dirty it was. Also there were diapers underneath our bed..

I enjoy the rustic look. It was a very classic feel. The location is unmatched. It was so convenient and I didn't have to go far for a great meal.

Truly 5 star level hotel. Great architecture and a colonial gem in the main Monterrey shopping area with a slew of restaurant options. Approx. 15 minutes to Chipinque National Park for ridiculously good hiking.

The swimming pool and common areas were a bit careless. The prices for breakfast at the hotel were higher than at the surrounded restaurants.
The room and bedroom was very comfortable. The supplies (water, soap, shampoo and body lotion) at bedroom weren't replaced every day.

I’ve stayed at several Quinta Real locations and always had fantastic experiences, which made this visit to Quinta Real Monterrey all the more disappointing. This property is not living up to the brand’s reputation.
The room I stayed in was outdated and felt worn out. The windows were dirty, and the shower had visible mildew—things you don’t expect from a hotel in this price range. It was clear the property hasn’t been properly maintained.
The bar was another letdown. Service was incredibly slow, the hours were inconsistent, and I often had to get up and find someone just to order a drink. The entire experience made it feel like a budget resort, not a supposed luxury hotel.
Quinta Real Monterrey has so much potential, but it desperately needs serious renovations and better management. Until they invest in bringing it back up to standard, I’ll be staying elsewhere.

I’ve always been a fan of Quinta Real properties—beautiful hotels with great service and attention to detail. Unfortunately, Quinta Real Monterrey was a huge disappointment and nowhere near the standard I’ve come to expect from this brand.
The rooms are extremely dated, with dirty windows that clearly haven’t been cleaned in a long time. The shower had mildew, and overall, the place just felt neglected. For a hotel with this history and reputation, it was really surprising to see how far it’s gone downhill.
Service at the bar was just as bad—slow, inconsistent hours, and I had to flag people down just to get a drink. It felt more like a cheap resort than a luxury property.
It’s a shame because this place could be great again, but it needs a major facelift and a renewed focus on service. Until then, there are much better options in Monterrey for the price. I won’t be coming back anytime soon.
