We want as a family, rooms were smelly, no mosquito protection, no safe, no hairdryer, bed matresses old, sheets not clean. Shared bathroom was dirty and smelly. Room rate was massively overpriced: 150€ per night! Had to pay upfront. Intended to stay 2 nights, but decided to leave after 1 night. Manager was not available, no offer to upgrade or refund money for the 2nd night. Totally disappointing.

Nice place with lovely an cozy facilities. Lovely staff as well. They helped us arrange a private transport to Manuel Antonio for a good price! Ask for Francesco if you are going in the same direction! He was so serviceminded and provided us with lunch and drinks all the way = perfect roadtrip!

Super expert and super activities planned. No AC no fan but with the temperature it’s not needed. The attention to detail is taken seriously. 10/10 best Selina Free spa, Welcome drink with Marshmellow the vibe there is more mountain and hiking vibe super fun.

It was an awesome stay in monteverde. I really appreciated the staff . They where super friendly and helpful. The only little thing I would improve is, to put hooks in the bathroom. All in all the best selina I have stayed in so far. Muchas gracias por un tiempo maravilloso.

The hotel is in a beautiful place, I liked the yoga room the most. To Santa Elena is nice one houer walk. Very friendly staff and great breakfast: large and tasty. I felt very good here. Delicious food in the restaurant and also cozy space for chilling. I hope back here in one day :)

I loved my experience at Selina, like always. It's really nice hostel, good food at the restaurant, the beds are really confy, it's clean. The staff is really nice and helpful, they also have a good coworking space if you need to get some work done ! Anyway I couldn't recommand more !

One of the most beautiful hostels I ever stayed, in. Love with costa rica and all the selina we stayed along the trip, the food and the staff and the rooms are amazing, and the vibes in it are like real hostel!! Love Costa Rica, international staff and lovely people, kind

All the staff were extremely helpful and patient. The facilities were clean and it was beautiful to walk around the hostel when the clouds descended and it was raining. The hostel is located further away from Santa Elena but it was more peaceful and quiet being away from the city. There is a stop at the hostel for the public bus to and from town which is very convenient. Wish I could have stayed longer!

I stayed for three nights and my experience was generally very positive. From the moment of arrival, the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. The room we were assigned was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable with high-quality linens and the bathroom was well-equipped with luxury toiletries and had a good-sized shower with excellent water pressure.
